I just read a news that says HMA is going to extend powertrain warranty for used cars to 10 years / 100,000 miles.
According to the article (written in Korean: edaily (http://www.edaily.co.kr/news/industry/newsRead.asp?sub_cd=DC12&newsid=01859766583134496&MLvl=2&clkcode=00102&curtype=read))
, current used car owners with less than 5years/60,000miles will receive the warranty extension, too. However, I will double-check this later because I can't believe this.. :)
Hurray!~
(It is an 'exclusive' article and I can't find another source, yet.)
ps. I'm sorry I'm too lazy to translate the whole article..
This didnt work too well :S

Interesting. Starting a couple years ago HMA was talking about getting rid of the warranty in a few years. Extending it to used cars seems like a step in the right direction.

That would be true if they actually start to honor the warranty. I'm in a "battle" with the dealer right now because in January of 2006, they inspected the exhaust manifold per the recall, and said it was not cracked. I looked at it myself recently, and it is now cracked (most likely was before too, and just had a dishonest tech), and they are refusing to do anything about it. Even though it's a ****ing recall!

Sounds perfectly clear to me:
Today the car (005380) against the engine and transmission back power [thu] [ley] person from last 99 American market '10 only 10 E one gratuitous guarantee irrigation ' started the exception service which is. When the worry sensitivity against the guarantee irrigation expense which is enormous it was, but today it operated with the opportunity where the such gratuitous guarantee magnifies a American market in earnest in the car.
Of course competitive company field the car '[theyn] [theyn]' all of a sudden was yellow today what is called in strategy, after modern car under high-speed growing watched features from American market and. To Toyota case today `10 the car is in the process of developing from the United States - only 10 it was a degree which will send the silver wheat investigation commission to hazard Korea which asks the background of E one guarantee'.
