HS headers + HF cat =cel

Put on my HS headers + HF cat, moved the 02 sen down stream from cat, got cel, there's no 02 sen on headers, put plug on the headers. Also moved the 02 sen from headers to pipe before cat, still getting cel. Question do you need two cats to clean the air flow. When Hotshot made there headers they put the 02 sen only on one pipe, so the air flows from one pipe, instead of all 4. could use some help on this, to get rid of the cel. I've been busting my *** to get this car the way I want it. I'm not going to stop now.

you need O2 sensor 1 ---- cat ----- O2 sensor 2

Try resetting the ECU. If you did this, then it's possible you damaged one or both of your O2 sensors. Locating the 1st O2 sensor after all four pipes have collected, and locating the 2nd O2 sensor about 14" after the cat will not throw a check engine light.

You really should get your codes read to be sure it's an O2 sensor and not something else.

Also, if you extended the O2 sensor wires, make sure you didn't mix any of the wires up when splicing on the extension wires. And of course, make sure you plugged them back into the engine harness.
