hi,
I have GOD photo frame having 3 LED lights. From that photo frame 2 electric wires are coming out. Currently i am using cigarette lighter to provide electric supply for that photo frame. Hence, LED's are working but looks ugly having wires running on car dashboard.

Here is my requirement --
1) Provide electric supply to LED other than cigarette lighter.
2) Electric supply should be ON for LED when car Headlights ( low beam ) is ON.
3) Mininum wires running over car dashboard.

Please can you help me to achieve these task.

thanks a lot
Amey

Is a GOD photo frame what I think it is?

I can't help until I know what exactly it is.

Oh, welcome to EXD.

about Photo frame -- 3x3 square box. In side that square box, LEDs attached to GOD frame. 2 electric wires are coming out from that box. I think required 12V electric supply for that assembly. Let me know, required to upload photograph of that assembly.

thx

From the looks of that picture. since the box is there, you could drill a hole in the dash, run the wire and attach it to the parking light wire using this Alarm install guide to find the proper wire.

| ITEM | WIRE COLOR |POL| WIRE LOCATION
| PARKING LIGHTS +|grn/org(L), pink (R) | | black 14 pin plug *2
| PARKING LIGHTS - | blue | |steering column
| HEADLIGHTS |white |- |steering column

The cleanest thing to do would be to remove the dash and run that wire behind it and to a switch somewhere. Question is, is all that work necessary for some you will probably get a ticket for (obstruction of view)?

i think its just an interior accent light?

at first i thought it was one of those flea market/ swapmeet neon jesus superstar pictures .

what's wrong with wiring it to the back of the cig lighter and just putting in a switch?

If I ever saw that on a dashboard I would headbutt the owner in the tits.

No, there is no guide, the link shows you all the wires that could be used for an alarm wiring guide, in my post, it shows the colour and location for the Parking lights and the head lights. The link was to show you where I got the information and if you wanted to use another source instead of what I suggested.

For any lighting or electrical, you should use a switched relay. If you don't understand any of this, I would suggest you check with a local Car audio shop. They could have this hooked up correctly in 30 mins or less.
