I don't mind it, but I don't necessarily enjoy it.

4 because if it's at night I can't see smack! Have had 4 eye surgeries and it has really affected my night vision signifigantly. If it's in the daylight hours it's not too bad.

It nothing big to me but I am a little sceptical about going fast and hitting puddles. All that water splashing on to the extremely hot parts and the turbo...could just be me though.

usually, i hate it at night, because of street lights reflecting off the road, it makes **** hard to see...with my integra, it was even worse because the headlights sucked...the xd is a bit better, but night + rain + street lights = suckage

Rain-X is your friend. Here in Florida we call it liquid sunshine, because we get it all the time during late spring early summer. Although we have had little rain lately. It did rain on Friday and a little yesterday which is good. Just remember to have good tires and watch out for the idiots out there.

Its bad when you have lots of rain or when it rains at night because the streets are black and they turn really black so I can see only lines that drive me by faith.

robert i know what you mean. in florida i liked it when it rained because most of the time it would rain but the sun could still be out in full force. The only time i REALLY hate the rain is when its coming down so hard i can't see the lines

I don't really like it cause most people in LA have no idea how to drive in the rain...

No big deal. You just have to understand the road conditions, the capabilities of your car, and how stupid everyone around you gets when the first drops fall.

people in Ohio forget how to drive whenever it rains or snows.

I hate it driving in the rain. The only my-car related hate comes from the problem of trying to keep the windows from fogging/frosting up.
I hate driving on the Beltway/95/97 during heavy rain. Everyone wants to drive 20mph with their emergency signal on. That really pisses me off.

I don't mind either. I just mind the way other people drive in the rain.
EDIT - And damn, nice to see you posting Josh K.

Assuming my tires have some tread left on them and I'm familiar with the streets then I don't mind the rain at all. In fact, I sometimes enjoy it.

It's no big deal, minus the fact that my passenger wiper currently goes thump-thump-thump across the window. Last time I buy expensive wiper blades. The Bosche Excel wipers I put on have lasted less time than the walmart $3 wiper 'refills'.
I like it, its really soothing sometimes.

I don't mind the actual driving in the rain part ... you have to do it 7 months out of the year in the Pacific Northwest. The part I hate is that my car gets dirty ... all over! I wish I had a sports car that could just sit in the garage on rainy days and bring it out only on the dry, sunny days. No such luck.

I never understand people scared of driving in inclimate weather. Just slow down, drive defensively and don't be stup. . . . AHA! That's it. Some people are ALWAYS stupid. They can't turn it off. I see now.
Never mind.

oh one thing I don't like is semi truck splash when it the spash goes all over the car and you're completely blinded by water, that sucks, but then that's pretty much it for me

i think its fun, cause wether im in the BMW or the SVO its a gamble as to how well the wipers will work if at all...lol...

I hate it. There's always an accident or someone rear ending someone else. It's hard to see pot holes, especially when they fill up with water. SUV drivers think they can still drive 85 mph. My car get's dirty and it always seems to rain the day after I wash it.
The good thing about driving in the rain for me is getting to use my $20 each Valeo wipers. These are the most amazing wipers I ever had. I've had them for about 6 months and the rubber still does not streak like regular wipers. Normally, I can't use wipers after 3 months. Once I see even one streak, I can't stand them anymore.
It's no big deal, minus the fact that my passenger wiper currently goes thump-thump-thump across the window. Last time I buy expensive wiper blades. The Bosche Excel wipers I put on have lasted less time than the walmart $3 wiper 'refills'.
Trust me, get the Valeos!

I love it. As long as it isn't a torrential downpour, I think a drive in the rain is relaxing. But even a total downpour doesn't freak me out. Tornadoes I mind, but not rain. Big deal!

Amen to that man! It's like even if it's not in the forecast the freakin' rain finds me anyway. F'ing SOB!! 9 out of 10 time average!

it doesnt bother me too much really, im used to it - just like driving at night doesnt bother me in the slightest (coz i started learning to drive at night when there was no other cars on the road! lol)
the only time that driving in the rain does start to annoy / bother me, is when other people on the road dont slow down or take extra caution as per the changing weather conditions.
the only other thing i dont like about wet weather driving, is the windscreen fogging up on me - coz im too cheap to use the aircon all the time to keep it clear - just use it in short bursts, or crank the heat to max on the screen vents.. that works and keeps me very well warm at the same time! hehe
It's how my car gets washed :)

It's how my car gets washed :)
You and me both. The only time my car was washed this entire year is when it was at the dealer once (and they surprisingly did an OK job).
well I don't see options 2 and 4 but for me it's no big deal even as when I'm on my bike well dress I love driving in the rain it's so peaceful.. wow and on my car if I have good tire(I don't) It's not bother me...

I don't mind it except for the fact that people drive like they've never seen rain before in their lives.

Some of my most memerble road trips were done in the rain. from calgary alberta at 9:30pm arrived in White rock BC 5am bc time so thats 6am calgary time 8.5 hour drive in a Golf GTI weaving the mountains like a train on rails. the drive typicaly takes 12 + hours. All this while my buddy Slept in the back with the seats folded down laying next to his Road bicycle.
Background stoy:
His sisters wedding was friday night and he had a race saturday morning. he paid me 500$ to get him there and offered to pay any tickets and or rise in insurrance occured.
Oooh Ps it only rained off and on but there were some shake'y Moments. hhaha i wont go in to details ;) hahah wish i was 20 again....

i hate it, bczu i like driving fast...er.
one day while driving to work, in my old 1992 excel, i spun out and went into the dirt, drifted sideways for about 20 feet and then hit puddle and bent my wheel, i went accross the other lane of traffic, and was heading for teh tree's but i managed to turn away from those. all this is probably cuz i had semi-slick tires... :/
so yea, since then, ive just been extra EXTRA careful in the rain...

I think driving in the rain and being comfortable comes down to having a good set of tires and of course windsheild wiper blades.
