the filter is just to let gasses escape. With a filter on top you can run both hoses that come out of your valve cover into the catch can.

Not really. You want a vacuum applied to your crank case to keep the excess pressure vented properly.

Is the catch can required if you do the throttle body coolant bypass mod??
i'm looking for a catch can myself and was wondering how much they usually run? Is it cheaper to do the DIY with the air compressor filter cuz i looked at em the othe day at the local hardware store and they were like 40 bucks just for the filter and wal- mart had none of the cambell hausfeild ones pictured in the DIY

if you hook the coolant bypass up to the catch can you'll spray coolant everywhere.

please have someone explain it all to you before you blow up your car.

Since you seem to know everything, why don't YOU explain it to him?

I'm not trying to jack your thread but I'm really interseted in this.. But is there a certain length that the hoses suppose to be and where exactly do you mount it (do you mount it). Pics would be sweet and like I said I'm not trying to jack the thread just interested.
