yep i live 5 mins away from kildonan park. and i got it fixed at focus hyundai. And i am never talking it there again. It took them 2 month to fix it and they didnt give me a rental even thou they said they will. then i get it back and the sound system doesntwork, lots of screw are missing, the windshield fluid nozzles dont work and one of the vent is broken. so far i fixed most of that stuff by myself since exept for the vent. and i didnt take it back becuase i dont trust them to ever touch my car ever again.
BTW here is the broke vent:

Haha I had my car fixed at focus too, but it's not focus's body shop per se, it's an independant shop that just works with focus. They did a pretty decent job on mine but it took them a while to get parts shipped in too, maybe 3 weeks it was in the shop. I got a rental from them but they said I'd get a Kia Magentis(sp?) but I ended up with the base of all base's accent that smelt like cigarret smoke.
That sucks getting it back like that though. At least you fixed most of it.

your hvac looks like what's oem in the 01-03 elantra. i have a 04 and the 05 is the same.. different from yours. did they change the hvac in 06?? i don't want to get off topic, just curious if the hvac was changed in the 06 elantra.

The body shop behind Focus is theirs. Trust me, I use to work there as a tech for 6 months. As for the repairs taking so long, blame Autopac. When you have to keep stopping work for approvals and waiting for used parts to come in to find out that they are wrong or damaged, you end up waiting forever. It's like 25% shop/ 75% Autopac wasted time! I know both the owners at Focus personally and they are the nicest guys!! One is the service manager and the other is the sales/general manager. They are also brothers.

I didn't go to the shop right behind focus, they sent me to one a couple of streets down closer to Kildonan place, I think one of the shop owners there Chris but I can't remember exactly. But I hear focus did some renovations on their location so I don't know how it looks now.

well all the parts they used were brand new since the car is an 06 with only 10,000 kms on it. And yes they are the nicest guys but not connecting the power to my sound system like WTF?
