For the gamers, this game is sweet! Just wanted to say that. Oh yeah, another hot graphic they added to this game is that the rotors glow red hot when braking like real life racing. The detail is just amazing. These are pics I snapped of my car mid-race!

Yep, and the drifting dynamics were really right on. I'm not a fan of GT4, so I'll stick with GT2 and GT3A-Spec.

I played the original FORZA, and I was somewhat impressed. The FORZA 2 appears like a great game, graphically. I can't afford a 360, so someone will have to lend me theirs with the game so I can check it out. Any takers???:D

i Used to put it on pause before i got on the bus and play all night when i got home. I loved the first forza. So it'll probably be the reason i buy a 360. I already got a wii (I play all the time) and a ps3(which i don't play hardly at all) So I may as well just get the 360 and get rid of the ps3

Forza 2 looks great and i'd love to have it, but i don't do consoles and since Merc 2 is coming out on the PC i have no reason to buy a 360 for just one game. Too bad the company behind Forza doesn't want to tap the PC crowd.

Even the first Forza game on the original XBOX was really good. The detail was good and the physics were good too. They were able to extract some pretty impressive graphics out of that game given the hardware they had to work with.

I have both, and Forza 2 is definitely much more detailed and crisp during game play the Forza 1.

I have that demo for PS3. The graphics on that, I have to say are better than Forza. On previous games, I really couldn't see much difference between PS3 and 360 graphics, since most PS3 games out now are made for 360 and ported to PS3. But GTHD being a PS3 exclusive, you can definitely see the difference between the two. GTHD looks VERY real during gameplay. It's almost like watching TV. Forza 2, you can tell it's a game, but Forza 2 seems more enjoyable to play than GTHD, even though they are similar.

They had it on part one. If you hit one side hard enough, you'll bend something in the suspension and the car will pull hard to one side. That, or you'll damage the motor. The tires warm up and wear out and the fuel goes empty (mpg depends on aero dynamics of your car, tire pressure and tire wear). Not to mention, you can tune just about every aftermarket performance part you can put on the car, even tire pressure.

I think it is pretty fun although I find myself playing it more like Burnout than a racing sim. Easiest way to get ahead is to take them out! :) It seems like this game is way shorter on content than GT3 A-spec was.

I think the content should be pretty similar. Leveling up to level 50 will take some time and you have to get up there in levels to unlock some of the content. Plus, there will be downloadable content in 6-8 months most likely.

so i couldnt really find a better thread to ask and i know forza 2 has been out for quite some time....i just got xbox live and bought forza 2 for $8...me and my buddy race on the nurburgring and we buy a new car everyday and mod it as much as possible to see what car(s) are the fastest....somehow most of the time he beats me...now my question is...what car has the fastest acceleration when fully upgraded????? thanks

it really also depends on how you set up the cam timing/aerodynamics if dont properly, you could get a tibron to keep up with/beat class C or maybe even B (on a bad day for the B) so just remember timing also helps not to mention how tall or short you want your gears.

i dont have this game at all, but in my head, i would probably stretch out the first two gears slightly after heavy modding so that it doesn't seem like i would have to start the car in 3rd without spinning tires and maybe shorten the next to last gear a little and make the final drive gear a bit taller to try to squeeze a little bit extra boost from the final drive gear.

but hey, im from the electrical side of cars, what do i know abount engines?

you can tune the final drive and with a tranny upgrade you can tune each individual gear....he has a ferrari f50 and a henessey viper that beats just about anything and i want to give him a good run

the viper would be hard to beat in the straights and the ferrari has it in the corners... so i would go with a similar car (maybe ferrari fully upgraded) and you might be able to give him a run with that if you do the setup correctly

yea his viper has over 1000hp but once i get some money im probably gunna get a Z06 and see what that can do...eventually getting a carrera gt and the TVR speed 12

don't worry too much about overall power (high hp) but look at the stock power to weight ratios for each car and go from there. for all you know, a lotus with half the hp could probably out do him if you tune it just right. the z06 has the torque to keep up in the straights until you hit the top end, but i would be more concerned about the corners on the track, that is where a lot of time is lost
