Like they said, send Craig an e-mail, he should make it right. He is a really good guy.

Craig has some of the best customer service of anyone who makes stuff for Hyundais. just talk to him.

its all good....ill prolly just leave it..and i didnt mean it like that was in a hurry...i meant why make go fast parts flashy...the rest of the engine bay is fone flash it up....but i like keeping a motor the way it should look from factory....sleeper almost when it comes to performance but dressing up the rest....unless its muscle cars then you chrome up the engine bay....

What happened to no personal attacks on here?

Maybe he just decided to let it roll off his back and accept it didn't get painted by rationalizing that it was unnecessary.

haha you don't know Munky yet?

If he'd posted that to me I'd still be on the floor crying from laughter!!! :D

Silver, as the other said you should have contacted him.

ok its not painted... question, is it pollished? it doesnt look like a dirty old IM does it? if thats the case paint it yourself. if you paid the $25 for paint, and its not painted, im sure Craig will refund you that money no problem there. so as for what it looks like right now. please post pics when you get a chance, i would like to see the inside of the stage 2 campared to my stage one. good luck, im sure Craig will do the right thing. and if you have questions about the install fee free to ask me

Sorry to somewhat hijack your thread, but I thought this info was relevant.

I've been unable to get in touch with Craig for almost a week now. He still owes me a phenolic spacer ordered early last month.

He said he shipped the first one which never arrived, then shipped a second one a few weeks later when I told him about the first one not arriving. The second one never came either. I'm trying to contact him to find out what he wants to do now, since he still has my $$ and I have nothing.

I've gotten no answers to several emails, no reply to a message to him through compactdivisions.com, no reply on EXD PM from him for over a week.

Does anyone have his phone #? If so, would they be willing to call Craig & make sure he's still alive?

Never mind. I got the part I wanted finally. Sorry to hijack your thread. Hopefully Carbonman will get back to you about your parts or they'll appear on your doorstep.

The spacer I got shipped on 5/30/07 and just arrived today.

ummmmmmmmmmmm,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,silver
I just checked all recent pms and emails AGAIN.
I never heard anything from you about this?? Really wish you had contacted me in the first place prior to posting a thread.
That being said, I don't recall being asked to paint the IM silver. Nor was that paid for either.

Also the mirrors and fuse cover have been polished up and will be shipping this week. I have no car right now so I have to try to condense my shipping visits.

Jim, again I appologize for CanPost losing your first spacer that was shipped out. As soon as this was known (after a reasonable time), as you know I sent out another without question.
As for the "shipped on 5/30" and you just receiving it today. WOW!! sometimes these get to their destinations in 3-4 days and other times it takes about 10-14 days. Honestly I've NEVER had one take more than that long to get to its new home. This is a first. I guess we just had bad luck.

As I recall, We had some shipping fun courtesy of the good ole' USPS back in 06...what was it, shipped June 30th, arrived September 1st or something?

Good 'ol USPS...they can't get anything right. I shipped smoked vinyl to Felix through USPS the first time, never got there. I shipped some via UPS second time, and he still hasn't received it. Why do shipping companies hate Canada?

True story, I've got a buddy who's unkle's cousin knows this guy at ups....
It's the poutine. The courrier driver's come across the border and get one taste of our poutine and it's all over.... they forget about your package and go on a poutine bender. Some of them take months to make it back to the states..... others are never heard from again.

I'm happy now. The spacer is very nicely machined and should help a lot.
It was obviously the darn Post office or customs messing with the shipment. Carbonman's reputation is intact in my book -- please don't hold the post office's shipping problems against him.

IF I get the other phenolic spacer (and if anyone in the USA wants one), you could probably pay Carbonman and I could ship it you. Otherwise I will be shipping it back to Carbonman, and there's a chance it might get lost on the way back. There's no guarantee that the first phenolic spacer will arrive, but I'll start a thread if that happens.

actually the reason i have not been able to contact you is cause my gf is going through some very personal things right now and ive been there for her and have not even been home....this is the first day in like 3-4 days...and also nothing fits on my car...the manifold was the wrong one...after 5 hours of trying to get it to fit...realized the injectors and fuel rails on cvvt motors are different....so will not fit... the cvvt motors IM is marked by as number 2 on the first runner...and put the spacer on and made my car run like complete *** and could not keep it running...everything was tight and every sensor and vacuum line was on correctly so everything is off and the car is running great...car was down for a toal of 18 hours....but pleased to hear my cf products will be shipped soon cause the whole intake manifold and spacer thing has really upset me...

ok i need to correct my above statement...very much lack of sleep as of recently...my car has a different manifold due to SULEV not because it is cvvt...california and its stupid emmisions laws...

if anybody knows as to why the spacer did not work please let me know...as i mentioned everything was tightened down and all sensors and vacuum lines quadruple checked...btw when i took the spacer off it was completely covered in fuel...but i could not get the nuts to tighten anymore with the spacer on it...

^Wow, I guess no one read your post a few posts ago.

Sorry about the bad luck, but I guess there is a difference in Cali's motors and "normal" motors. That sucks man. Maybe you should find a junked one around your area and mail it to him. Then he can do a Stage II on it for you. Just a thought.

i know but i have gotten a lot of recent bills ...hospital bills....and i dont have the extra cash to buy a junkyard manifold at the moment....maybe in like a month or so when i catch up on my bills.
