I got my set from E-bay ( in 3 days from China!), and installed them tonight. The color is perfect (6,000k) and the light output is great. I used the shields that I made, and I think they are going to work pretty well.

LOL... the only way I install parts in other people's cars is through the windshield and into the front seat.

can you get a pic of the light on like a garage door or a brick wall so we can see the cutoff?

^ +1
Looks good though. It doesn't seem as drastic a cutoff like the other shields I've seen, so definitely get a pic on a wall or whatever.

Very nice, from china huh I wonder how long it'll last, unless it's a name brand.

I have a set from Topto (if I remember the brand correctly) that I think was made in china. They've been on since March with no problems at all (knock on wood). Hopefully yours will hold up fine, too, 04 elantra cvvt.

How much were they?
106 shipped.
Ilan: Not sure. The box just says H.I.D. on a yellow stripe, and has a picture of a BMW on the front.
The way I figure it, if they crap out, they were only a hundred bucks, so I can buy a couple more sets if I need to.
(hopefully I won't have to though)
I'll work on a cut-off pic later.

Yeah... sure did Alex. I like them a whole lot so far. I got the 6,000k instead of the 8,000k. You used txdproject's shields, right?
BTW, you haven't had any issues, have you? Mine have been great so far.

I only had to slightly adjust mine. They were really close, just had to bump them down a hair.
Alex, can I get you to take a wall pic as well? I want to compare txd's shields to the ones that I made.

No problem...in all actuality, I think your cutoff is cleaner. I'll post some pics when I get em'.

^ Thank you for posting a pic of your cutoff with the HIDs. I appreciate it. Mine fills the whole headlight, and I've been contemplating doing the shield. I have eyelines, so that cuts down on the glare to other drivers, but I think it looks cleaner with that shield in.

Here is a pic of the cut-off. Keep in mind that it has been raining here A LOT lately, so there is some reflection off of the puddle in front of the car.
