Typically they themselves are antennas, but now they're just becomming faker stick-on rice.

i don't have a problem with the FUNCTIONAL type like this, as the XD above may very well be. Sirius/XM stereo and GPS Nav systems have antennas that look like that... I'm just hating on the fake ones.

Usually there is a hole for the wire to go through in the hood to avoid that.
