View Full Version : Another auto headlight question

Do any of you that have the auto lights have this problem:

When I am on the highway, and I go under an overpass, the lights come on. Then, about 4 seconds later, they turn off. This really bothers me. My wife's Sonata does not do this. When they come on on her car, it is almost dark outside, and they don't turn back off again.

If anyone has figured out how to stop this, let me know.

Sorry....can't help you out...

but this is definitely not good with HID's for both the bulbs and ballasts.

I know.. that is why I am using them manually right now.

I would get rid of the auto option;) That would be me though.:D

Seems like the sensor is too sensitive. Any way to desensitize it?

That's what I was thinking about. I just got a Sonata sensor from my buddy at the dealer today. I'll see how that one does.
