I left a post on the Tri flow camshaft thread about speaking to my buddy and it seems like nobody noticed it was there. I thought there was a lot of interest with this subject.

I am shipping out a set of non-cvvt and cvvt cams to Colt Cams next week for regrinding.

Beta Camshafts have been done, they are going crazy, we finished this off about 6 weeks ago. The triflow really made this come alive

He has also posted on CrookedH.com referencing these regrinds.
According to the web site, they are $430 a set. That's not too bad of a price.
It's also advertised 10hp and 10tq, with good power increase from idle to 6500rpm.

$43 per whp, not bad at all.

Sorry for the delay, my posts are monitored, I was trying to get permission to post this info, and was not sure who I needed to talk with.
My name is Bill Hurlin and I am from KFX Performance. We have been working on Kias and the Beta engines for over 5 years now. Geoff from Colt Cams has done a great job of helping us to get this project working. I have a bunch of reasonably priced Alpha and Beta pieces in the works. We also will be listing shifters, intakes, and new headers that will bolt right to the stock 2nd cat, there have also been some minor changes to the flanges on the headers to clear the accessories. We are working with Evofusion on some of these projects. It allows us to increase our purchases and in turn reduce the retail price to our customers.
If there are other items that you are interested in, I am more than willing to help

You may want to stay away from EF if you really want customers lol.Anyway, how would these cams fair for F/I beta II CVVT engines? I may be interested if they are priced right and show somewhat of a gain

I spoke to REDZMAN over at NT, hes the Tiburon guy with the cams. Hes very impressed with them thus far and told me he was hitting the dyno with them on what was tuesday.
I hope to see numbers here soon.
Bhurlin, now that you know the specs of a stock beta camshaft what are your limitations for regrind specs?
