Hey I was just wondering if anyone knew where i could find a decent body filler. I went to advance auto and only saw the Bondo brand body filler. I know "bondo" has a bad reputation for being used by bad shade tree mechanics. So i didn't know if I should get a different brand name like from a Paint manufacturer like Dupont. if So where would i go to buy it? ANy constructive information would be Mucho Appreciated!

Automotive paint supply stores are the best places. I know there's a little autobody supplier in downtown Joliet by me that sells all the 'high-end' stuff, not just what walmart/pep-boys has.

I use an aluminum based filler or `lead` as a filler. No plastic for me. Won't crack or chip off. However working with this takes a different technique and more time.

bondo also makes a "dog hair" filler witch is a fiber glass resin filler with is awsome for filling spots in like bumpers or if you chop the heck out of your grill :). but 95% of the custom shops that i ve seen use the Bondo brand so ..... its all really if you use the filler right and take the time to prep everything

Just minor dents and dings front doors shopping karts and roudy kids!

I appreciate it! I guess just look in the phone book for automotive paint supply stores?
