So I got the Orange thing back today. While in the freeway I squeezed the 4 gear to the top (6k+ revs) and heading to an exit I press the brakes hard and boom  brakes were dead WTF! Almost smashed it. I installed the ksports on hurry and checked all the brake lines installation but forgot to check the left rear one and it was hitting the wheel so it broke due to the constant friction. So i left it at the cover shop 2 towns away from mine.
I'll post picks of the stupidity tomorrow.

Damn, sucks to hear about that. Good thing you didn't crash it though. That would have been much more sad.

The buddy shop owner is my friend and he was doing warranty work (means free work at his expense). He ended up painting the whole car again and giving me some sort of sponsorship. He will paint and touch up any small part on my car for free.

damn...that sucks
hopefully the ebrake saved you. i had to drive from chicago to columbus (~350 miles) with no front brakes. probably not the best decision ive ever made, but luckily enough it was all freeway and i could downshift to slow down when i needed to

I had a car with no brakes once (bad lines all around). had to use the e-brake everywhere. eventually fixed the brakes.
yeah, not the best decision ever made...
only time i went without brakes was in a friends car! 97 topaz brakes went out, but i was only like 3 miles from home so i e-braked it home.. i was closer then yinz and it was still not the best idea lol

I don't think I'd trust myself to work on brakes for that reason. They're just too critical to screw up. Last time I tried, my old Escort had a frozen caliper and I couldn't get it back in. Had to drive about two miles with only one set of front brake pads... very slowly. Glad you're OK, Mayollo.
oh yeah, glad you made it where you were goin and didnt get in an accident. Also its pretty coll you got a repaint and are gettin free touch up, thats a sweet deal

You better not wreck that car! I love it.
Even showed my friend it and he wet his pants a little.

mayollo did you get the tib ksports or the elantra ones? I have the tib ones on mine and i bought tib Rotora SS lines and there is more than enough length for them, you could install the fronts w/o switching the left w/ the right.

The Elantra ones. Therte is something funny with the rear struts. They look very close to sway bar and adjusting the camber will be almost imposible. I will need to contact KSport with pics of that issue.

:abovelol::abovelol::abovelol::abovelol::abovelol: Yeah I have no plans to wreck it but speeding sometimes feels so great and scary. Ill just check the brake lines agin before move it from the cover shop.

yeah my swaybar is really close to the strut also with the tib ksports. i was looking into those control arms to solve the problem of adjustments.

That hole was made by constant friction with the rim. The brake loss was instantly so no lights will warn you when it happens all of the sudden.

yup, i had an issue like that with mu k-sports (when i had them installed). i ziptied them and never rubbed. but on mine, i had the sway bar attatchment like on the rears, on the fronts of mine. so thats where i zip tied them to. all good after that.
