My side needs more black... Since this picture I have taken off my vinyl tape and my Side is screamin for some black accents... So... What looks best? This will be FLAT Black...
1) Handlesblack and fueltank

2) Handlesblack only

3) Part below handle black and fueltank

I'd do full black door handles and the side moulding (to tie your black wheels together) but leave the fuel filler door. If you do the fuel filler door black, it just looks like a black hole.

I think the the handle and the handle cups should be black. But flat black like you said, because glossy just wouldn't look right.
Do you have a black aftermarket antenna yet?
What about painting the side mirrors black, flat black?

I can do a photoshop real quick to see what the whole thing would look like since two people have suggested it... we'll see.. I think it'd just be better with one of the two...and I really like the contrast of the silver and black already on the mirrors....
And yea... I cut mine and painted it black... it looks good...

Sweet. And I took another look at the mirrors. You're right, it would be over kill. That contrast must stay.
I understand the contrasting you are looking for in the handle situation, but I think they'd look really good. Didn't NY do the same thing to his handles, all black? Or was it just the handle itself, not the handle cup area?

I like the full black handles, but if you only wanted to do one section of them I would do the bottoms. And def do not do the fuel door, it really just looks like a black hole.

I agree about the fueldoor by far...
I'm still real undecided if I want just the bottom or both... I guess I'll let the polls go on... I have one going on in my local car club as well...

If you're going to do the handles, do the entire part ... upper and lower.

IMO if you're going for it you should do the entire piece black (top and bottom), like NY2002ElantraGT it would look better with the black trim.
My advice would be leave it as they are, but if you still want to do it go with the enterie piece

not the gas cap though
thanks! :D

Here's my opinion. Contrasting Gas door = tacky as hell.
Typically, body-color-matched door handles are on the "higher level" cars, with the introductory packages being the cars that have black handles. Painting the handles will cheapen the look of the car, especially without any black molding or anything to carry the "black trim" look. I'd say leave it alone.
If you must paint something, I would only do the lower part of the handles.

I wouldn't paint any of it black
unless you paint the whole car

would do solid black gt moldings and if that was not enough i would do a cf hood. i would not start painting stuff like that on the car. another possible option would be a vinyl graphic of some sort. if i did that i would go with something subtle.

I've made my decision... lol.. some of you just dont read the above posts do you??? lol... I AM NOT painting the molding... it looks horrible... I photoshopped it and it looks like crap with all that black.... Now If I had a chrome lip or colored lip on my wheels' it'd be a different case...
No on the fuel door.. I agree that it looks tacky as hell.... I just wanted it as another option..
I am just painting the bottom of the handles.. I think it looks pretty damn good like that... If by any chance later on down the road if I get tired of that look... I might paint the top part of it... but its very doubtful... Thank you for all your suggestions...
Ohh and BTW I love slyder's Idea the best lol... but I cant really do that at the moment...

Make sure you do a good job painting. Handles and handle-wells have a tendency to get scratched to all hell. Normally these are small scratches you don't see, but black on silver will reveal silver scratch marks when the black gets scratched.
The best way to go about what you want is to buy/trade some handles in from a black Elantra.
