Bought some 8000K HIDS...

...And I love them. $105 shipped. 40 minutes to install. I was worried that they may be a little too blue for the road, but they dont look blue at all. There may be a very slight hint of it, or the majority of the blue filament piece is being filtered out by the glare shields. Ill post up pics in an hr or two, Im waiting for it to get a little darker.

HIDs are a nice lighting upgrade, I have the 8000K as well, its a little blue but so much brighter than the OEM lighting and it really turns heads! I love how they heat up at night when you first turn them on and progressively get brighter.

Updated first post. My camera sucks for video. Tripod used for the night pics.

I was debating about testing them out without the glare shields. Im not sure how much of a difference they make. When you look into the headlight, you can see the cutoff line of where they dont illuminate from.

I drove by 4 cops while I was out. I was driving to the bank, and there was a cop behind me, and a modded neon in front of me. I pulled in the shopping center. 5 min later when I leave, I see that the cop had pulled the neon over, and was searching the car for illegal mods.

I may need to adjust the bulbs. They may be pointing to low to the ground. Not sure.

Overall, Im pleased. It looks like the headlights are icing over in the day pics.

Those look real good. Pretty much the same color as mine. And during the day, they don't really look all that much blue. They look brighter white than daylight bright, you know what I mean.

Exactly. And now I need to go align my headlights. They are way off.
