sweet ive been looking for something like this. although the blue may be illegal in some states. ive been thinking of putting this film on and then putting the eyelids over that. to protect the headlight from wear. combo that with some nice angel eyes and or H.I.D. lighting. awesome.

I don't think the blue would effect your lighting anymore than some H7 blue plasma bulbs. It's more about the color for apperance than light color change. None of those colors are going to get you in trouble.

Yeah I have smoke ones on my car......cops told me any other color would be illegal due to some reflecting issues that colored ones can cause. They wont change the color of your lights and are mainly for appearence like bdiggy said. I think they are a great idea though.

My car was rear ended this weekend and the back tailight was hit and cracked. Since having the vinyl film on it...it held it together pretty well and cant even tell the tailight was hit unless you get a flashlight and hold it up to the tailight and see the cracks. Without I beleive my tailight would be broken right now

can you tell when you hit the brakes??? i like the blue ones aswell.. i think they will give a nice look but i dont think they are dark enough to change the color of you lights..

ive also been thinking about looking into this

but its like $400-600

Yeah you can see the cracks when the brakes or headlights are applied. But its still better than having a broken tailight. At least this gives me some time to fix it without having anything illegal on the car

yeah i agree its better than a busted one and i was just asking if you could see it. if it was me i wouldnt even worry about it.(but i dont have much money right now.)

Just wanting to know if lens films are a good idea to protect the plastic lens of the stock headlight. The whole color thing took this thread way off course. Yes they are a good idea so that the original protective coating doesn't wear down and you don't end up w/ "hazey" lenses. As for the color of the films, I stand by my original post saying that this blue will not be dark enough to get you in trouble w/ the po-po.
