Good ideas, except i have already done my gas cap with real carbon fiber wrap. IF there is a Pep Boys around you, you can get it, its over in the section where the graphics and pinstripes are 6feet long 6 inches in width. but i cant remember what the brand is

Sorry to be negative, but since you asked...

I'm not the most politically correct forum member here, so please take these comments with a grain of salt.

IMO very ricer.

I liked the grille all black, myself. Simple, clean, and different. It might look better if you painted the frame gloss black with clearcoat to make it match the black paint better. However, the CF film does not make it look like it's actually CF, and just looks tacky IMO.

The matte finish sim CF on the gas flap looks flat from a distance. It almost looks like you put a black-primered-only gas door on it.

BTW, what's up with the lower part of the eyelids? It looks like the peak that should be between the low and high beam projectors is not aligned with the actual reflectors? If you're going CF, you should use CF eyelids, too.

Why not a CF shift knob, too.


The extra length of your exhaust pipe makes your car look like it has a hard-on...

i know the shifter is on backwards but it feels better in my hand so i put it on this way, and under the shifter boot theres a nut to wigh it down.

now about painting it gloss black i did. well i tryed and i ****ed up 3 times and weisted 2 cans of black and clearcoat so i just said **** it and got on the carbon fiber tape. Same with the eyelids i ****ed up and i used black vinil tape. now about the eyelids yes i know they dont aligh but thats how dreamka made them and i just put them to alighn with the ends of the headlights. as for the gas tank door, the only reason i did that is that i went to DOMO gas station and the guy screched it somehow:hammer: and it is the hyundai paint which is easy to screch, so it was either this or repainting it or leaving it black. personally i love how my car looks and drive but serioustly id never spend money on real carbon fiber parts. I only see a point in spending money to make the car drive better or maintainance everything else is just rice!.

The concept is great but soon you need to paint/ match the grill and eyelids with the car.

Fuel door cap will look better in real cf (I'm not a fan of that) because IMO, cf paper is rice.

The tail pipe needs to be cut, its an emergency:eek:!

I like the grill a lot (besides the tape). The other stuff isn't my thing, but good for you if you like it.

I kinda like the grill but that gas door is not for me. If things don't match up on both sides of the car i'm just not down w/ it. It's like a pair of blue jeans w/ a plaid patch on one of the knees.

If your worried about how it looks then your biggest concern is your tail pipe at this moment, it just looks really bad, ugly, and guetto. other than that i would also take out the fake carbon firber gas cap unless it was real carbon fiber and also the tape in the front dont look good, find a way of not having tape there.
the shift knob is ok, just turn it the other way.

first please cut off the ugly thing sticking out the back, it looks like your car is in heat.
get a real aftermarket muffler if you want a different pipe in the rear.

yeah i would go with the real cf wrap. the cf look vinyl looks like crap IMO but to each his own i guess....6" X 6' goes along way. i put alot or cf wrap on people cars if you order it from 3m or avery it lst alot longer. a friend of mine had me frap his lip kit wi the stuff from pepeboys and the heat killed it within a month it peels really easy and you end up with a silver sticky mess.
3m and avery have 7 year films garunteed...........

sorry man have to agree with everyone here on the cf...cf wrap is just rice....shifter is pretty nice...keep it how its comfortable....but remember at the end of the day **** what everyone else says it ur car....

Have you thought of tinting the windows? If they're already tinted, I can't see the pictures right now 'cause I'm at work and I don't remember from last night. You can get pre-cut pieces of window film relatively cheaply on Ebay. I think that would look great on a black XD2!

well i called a junkyard today and they told me they have a black fuel door for $10 so im going back to black. And yes i am going to tint the windows as soon as i get the chance, however im not even going to try to tint them ill rather take it to a profesional. im still undecuded with the underlids i dont know if i like it or not. but ill give it a week or 2 if i dont like ti ill take it off. But i do love the grill and the eyelids

love the grille, think the tank is a good idea. not a fan of the eyelines at all blech. as for the shift knob, thats all you no opinion there..

i would say get the Cf rear insert also, the one right above the plate.
