wow good stuff that's a bargain! umm can't really tell from the pics but does the filter go down into the sidewell or just beside the battery?

It just goes behind the battery. but i think i'm gonna get some spectre piping from autozone and route it down into the fender but we'll see how it works like this for now haven't done a test drive yet the wife took the car to work.(I finished it as she was coming down the steps to leave)

Id say leave it. I have something similar, atleast hydrolock isn't as big of a problem. Whats holding that thing in place? Do you have anything done to your motor mounts? If not I see a filter getting the crap beat out of it.

APC did go under. quality of the pipe probably doesn't matter... as long as it can't be bent by your hands I wouldn't worry. pipe is pipe, they probably got it from a supplier. I would check your brake lines though, make sure they have at least 1" of clearance (otherwise your pipe will get a big dent in it over time).
hydrolock won't be a problem unless you drive the car underwater (or leave it running while the front end is submerged in a puddle).
did it come with a giant "APC" decal for your window!?!??!

Thats because 90% of car drivers in PA are idiots and think all the "sweet performance mods" from autozone/AAP are the shizle.
Sigh, I hate Butler...

APC used to be synonymous with "ricer". Don't know about now though.

Good stuff! My CAI was one of my favorite upgrades to my XD, I loved the hiss it made when you started the car and the sound when you shut the engine off...though most may not be able to hear it all the time, I had a turbo timer so I always heard my car shut off.

okay i took the car for a few test drives today .(actually i drove it alot just b/c i love it soooooo much) Now it has alot more mid/High rpm power compared to the sri..... And with the cat back on now I love the sounds of my car now. I had the resonator removed and kept the straight through muffler i had already to see how it sounds. I like it but it doesn't sound like anything i ever heard before. I was thinking it was gonna be like a loud bumble bee with the straight through muffler But its not. its actually quieter inside the car than it was with the stock piping. Also it's got a nice growl too it no farting and cracklin when i let off the throttle. I'm gonna try get some sound clips but i haven't done any dv uploading before so it might be time to learn.... Thanks EXD I ****ING LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
