Replaced side mouldings (installed OEM GT side mouldings. I bought them in Korea and returned to Illinois with them last week. Security guys were so much alarmed because they thought that I was carrying a sword.. :D )

I also bought materials to install black mouldings on both bumpers.. But I think I would do that later..

you went to korea and didn't bring back more stuff like a lip kit ?!? but it looks good the mouldings on the bumpers would complete the look when you get them on

Aren't they too big to bring with?
Anyway, I was thinking about small lip that is attached under the front bumper.. But.. well.. I forgot that as soon as I landed in Korea...

Yeah... I hope so... I just need to figure out how to make clean holes for side markers.

Yeah, they look kind of interesting like that though. I'm not sure how much it would impact the drivability though.
Good call on being the first to go from GLS to GT moldings.

what did you have to do to install the mouldings?

This is how to replace the mouldings. It's so easy and intuitive.
0. Buy GT mouldings:
87711-2D200CA Front-Driver's side
87712-2D200CA Front-Passenger's side
87721-2D200CA Rear-Driver's side
87722-2D200CA Rear-Passenger's side
1. Unscrew bolts holding the mouldings. (one for each moulding. picture shows the one for driver's side front door.)

2. Pop out the old mouldings.

When you pull them out, you may break some of the pins and the mouldings. But don't worry. Your new mouldings have them.
If some of the pins are remaining on the door after pull the mouldings out, turn them 90 degrees to pull them out easily.
3. Put the new mouldings. (I cleaned the surface first... just hated to see the 4 years old stains.)

4. Put the bolts back. And it's done.

He bought these in Korea, so you may want to take the numbers down, and call the dealer.

Damn...went to the dealer yesterday...for all of these, the price will run roughly $150...ouch. Guess I'll be waiting for awhile on these...

Couldn't you take off the stock ones, sand them down, and paint them flat/satin black?

Interesting swap on the moldings. Definitely need GT bumpers now.
Those eyelines look like the ones made for the XD2 headlamps.

Yeah.. that would be good if the moldings are too expensive. (they are less than $30 total at Mobis in Korea :D )
This is the better picture of both moldings and eyelines after eyelines are corrected.
