Civic turbo

A friend of mine FOUND a turbo for a Toyota. It is supposed to be a good one, used on only the race-bound Supra's and MR2's. The problem is, all he has is the turbo. No plumbing, no brackets etc... So, his plan is to sell his 500 RWHP. 75 Trans Am to get the money to fix up his 92 civic. I think he's going the wrong way with this.

:eek2: Getting Rid of a Trans Am just for a Civic? Thats crazy. Unless you could get the 500 HP out of the civic then I would go for it.

a 500 hp civic is gonna look like a dragster because of all the adjustments to chassis and body and so on . . . and unless he's getting a newer one with a more rounded "flashier" design . . its gonna look nasty in my opinion. . . and we all know how attractive 91 civic hatchback dragsters look lol

Yikes, FWD sucks. He should get an MR2 instead. :D
