Ya as it says. Got bored and the mod is cheap. And Certainly makes it look cleaner along with undoubtedly will be easier to detail next time around.

i like these cars when they have been debaged - hmm come to think of it,... i didnt go to work today... i could do that too.... hhmmmm

do the badges leave behind any holes/ pin locators where the badges where attached to the body??

no, they are attached with double sided tape. they only leave some sticky resude left over, but use some goo gone and it should come off

The "crooked H" symbol in the center of the back will leave 2 holes, so leave that one on if you do this. Just take off the "Hyundai" and "Elantra" if you want to debage.

Personally, to me debaged cars look like they were in an accident and the bodyshop forgot to put the emblems back on.

I like the look of the 05-07 Tib GT emblem. That's the only one on the back on mine anymore.

I agree. That's why I added the KDM badging to mine.

Silentwolf, I really like that Green color. Your model isn't a GT right, it's just a GLS??? If it is a GT, I've never seen one in that color. And I bought mine in Orlando, so that sucks that I missed out on a great color.

I don't know why manufacturers have to plaster nameplates on all the cars. I always remove mine. That was the first thing I did on my Accent when I bought it. Bye-bye badges!

I especially don't like the badges if the font is different on each one. I think Toyota is the worst ... I've seen as many as six badges not including the "emblem" on the back of a Highlander.

I like it when people walk around and around my car before I have to butt in and tell them it's a Hyundai. Car looks good man!

Yep thats the one GTboy. Once Hyulen (or however u spell it) got theirs from EF (after 3 months) i ordered mine the following monday. They say 4-6 weeks since its coming from Korea, but i expect the 3 month wait which is fine.

BC: Its a GLS. GT hatches in 06 only came in the exterior colors that used gray for the interior. I loved my tan interior so only GLS hatch choises were White (which i was trading in and several others were on the road), Tan (had already seen some driving around), Green (handnt seen on road yet), and Moonlight Blue (wasnt on lot at time of shopping). So i got the green and so far have seen only one other green hatch (all stock) in the north end of the county.
As for modified Elantras, Its pretty much me and now Only1(amazing considering all that are sold here) Alas, I have seen a couple of sedans recieving the rice treatment. :(

You are missing out on soooo much by not going to Orlando. I've confirmed that I will be going down to O-Town the first weekend of August, and I'll be driving. I'll be making it a point to get a hold of only1db, as we've got some unfinished business. I'd love to meet up, and introduce you to some Hyundai people in Orlando. It's a drive for you, but you don't have to do it all the time.

I love the color, great choice.

Orlando is only 50 miles for me. At least to my school, UCF. But 50 miles does add up hence why i take classes at the Brevard campuses now.

As for that first weekend of Aug. I should be over there on the 5th for the afternoon and eve. Will be playin some airsoft with my friend during the day. SO if ur still around in the evening we could hang.
