and its going to cost USAA $1700 to fix. Me? 250 and I get a rental. They also said because it was a hit and run in a parking lot I wont see any increase in my insurance rates. Not to mention I turn 25 next month anyway. :D Still.... this sucks. Car looks like crap until next week.

That stinks. Did you see the guy who did it. On another note, USAA is great. I woke up yesterday morning w/ a 8in crack in my windshield and they were able to fix it today (and only cost me $100). Hope yours get fixed soon.

glad your rates arent going up. depending on the company hit and run DO increase it becasue they are paying out.. not another company paying them

cool that its only costing 250 (im guessing thats your deductable?)
but its pretty lame you ahve to go through all this. sorry to hear about that

$1700 for that? you raped them lucky for you it didn't break a headlight or bend the radiator support. You could get a bodykit and paint w/ that. or a CF grill/Genius grill etc. and eyelines...etc...etc...

... im not paying 1700.... I am paying 250. USAA is paying 1700. Most of it is they are actually going to paint it right. Not just throw a single layer of paint on it and call it a day.

I had a hit-and-run under State Farm while on vacation a couple years ago. We were on our way home, so we didn't report it until we got home. Then, when we got home, our other car had been broken into and the radio stolen. So we filed two comprehensive claims the *same day*

State Farm didn't raise our rates even with two claims in one day.
