so i realized my pcv line on my cai fell off.. i dont know how long ago but i installed my cai like 4 days ago?? i fixed it but should i be worried about any engine damage? i did redline it a few times and drove a good 250 miles?

No, but I bet you were suffering for power. That fell off on my '02 a couple of times, till I got a real clamp instead of a zip tie. Felt power loss immediately. It may have just come off, so you may not have felt the power drop.

And no, don't worry about engine problems. You'll be just fine.

The odds of you sucking in enough dirt from on top of the engine through the tiny PCV line to cause any problems over a short period of time is virtually nil.

That is, of course, unless you took the car on a Baja 500 race or were seriously offroading in VERY dusty conditions. Of course, either of those events would probably have trashed the car anyway... ;)

the one attached to the cai is the breather line, the pcv goes to the intake manifold.
