hyunelan2 08-27-2004, 12:36 PM I'm gonna come steal your headrest - J/K. It looks very good. Now you just need someone to drive for you so you can watch it :)
kylemorg 08-27-2004, 01:08 PM Very nice installation! I'm glad that you're only putting screens in for the back seats.
jameswing 08-27-2004, 02:03 PM I don't think you could have gotten a bigger screen to fit in there, They look real nice.
04 elantra cvvt 08-27-2004, 06:30 PM Looks good. I hope to be able to do that some day.
brad335 08-27-2004, 07:23 PM I just baught a set of tvs for my headrests. Did you have any problems with the airbag sensors in the passenger seat?...by the way, those look sweet!
Looks damn good! I am wanting to do that myself (someday) . By the way, what size is that screen?? What did the setup set you back and where from??
clarion 08-30-2004, 04:05 PM looks good, were did you get the power from?
hey kylemorg whats wrong with putting screens in the front?
i can't see the screen if im driving
Luckydvl 08-30-2004, 05:47 PM on my specific video monitor, the cable that came out of the monitor was single video and power and ground cable. it was long enough to go to the deck, so i ran it down the back of the chair under the seat, and cut a small slit under the slider and ran it under the carpet down the side and to the back of the dvd. and got power from the remote turn on on the dvd. its a 5.6 inch monitor, the only problem i am having right now and i dont know if its the monitor or what. but after playing it for a couple of minutes like 30 its begins to get bright and u can see the picture as good. i dont know if its the monitor heating up or what.

So you didnt run the wires inside the seat? My concern with mine, is the airbags in the seat. It would suck to have them blow out. Let me know how you did that, I would appreciate it.
Luckydvl 08-30-2004, 10:10 PM no i did run it in the seat i took the plastic piece off, and ran it down the back
You should do a DIY on this install man....
brad335 08-31-2004, 03:23 PM no i did run it in the seat i took the plastic piece off, and ran it down the back
I had the same idea on that then. I think its much easier, as well as reducing the risk of deploying the airbags. Thanks for the input, i really appreciate it. Will post pics of mine, when its all said and done.
Luckydvl 08-31-2004, 03:33 PM will try to do a right up when i install the other monitor soon.
DJ Hellfire 09-05-2004, 01:38 AM I need to get a garage before I do this mod.
