And they're free. I bought a jag of Valvline 5w30 for ~$10 back in June and they're giving the free mechanic gloves in the form of a mail in rebate. They are nice, much better than the garden gloves I used to do car work. Sorry about the camera phone pictures.

sweet i had a set of those but they caught fire when i was working on my other car.(87 daytona) They are really good w/ providing grip and can withstand fire for a short period of time :)

i don't like those kind of gloves, i like having my tactile senses when working on cars. without my fingers it bothers me when i'm doing something i can't really see too well.

My boss at work buys rubber disposable gloves for us to use so i wear them all the time. I like those because i can still feel, unfortuately they aren't fire resistant... that'd be great at times!

Very cool. That's a good give away.

nice!

I also use disposible gloves myself though just like cypher I have a problem with feeling little nuts and bolts... But if say you are doing exhaust work and are welding, it's a different thing!

I have the same gloves. Welding with them is a blessing. I really like them for my muffed up thumb iv'e been wearing them for 3 weeks now just in case....
