: What's your favorite mod?
hyunelan2 05-05-2004, 11:00 PM Just curious, what's everyone's favorite modification on their XDs? Also, what's a favorite that you've seen done on an XD?
My favorite performed: Compact Divisions Eyelids... I think... this is a harder question than I thought... hmmm.
evil247 05-05-2004, 11:19 PM hmmm that is a tough question. the one I liked the most was the UD pulley. But as far as looks go I think possibly the wheels. Car doesn't look right without them.
SuperGLS 05-05-2004, 11:37 PM GT Leather Seats. Hands down. With the door panels here next week I'll be even more happy. Slowly it is coming along.
WytchDctr 05-05-2004, 11:45 PM Torn between exhaust (because of mid range torque) and the short shifter...
Guess 05-06-2004, 12:16 AM SR CAI  this may change once one of the lovely Hyundai Aftermarket companys ponys up a refund (see topic in flame section for more answers) Cuz then I'll be getting the custom exhaust done so who knows might be my new fav mod.
BlueGT 05-06-2004, 12:17 AM Custom turbo kit.
Oh wait, I don't have it yet. But some Koreans do. So that's my favorite mod for XD.
RabidDogBoy 05-06-2004, 12:23 AM I like my GT Shift Knob + Tib Shifter... feels soooooo much better than driving with crappy stocky... I also love my GT wheels... looking at alloys on my car rather than the old steelies make me feel so much better about my car... I think they're sexy too... :D
evil247 05-06-2004, 12:29 AM I like my GT Shift Knob + Tib Shifter... feels soooooo much better than driving with crappy stocky... I also love my GT wheels... looking at alloys on my car rather than the old steelies make me feel so much better about my car... I think they're sexy too... :D
Your welcome. If I could get my old rim back and get it fixed I would sell you those cheap
RabidDogBoy 05-06-2004, 12:33 AM I don't think I'll ever go aftermarket wheels... I don't know why but I haven't seen any wheels that I like that would go good with my car... I love my GT wheels... if only I could get some springs and lower it more... :werd:
Wow, tough one. hmmm. I guess it would be the Pioneer DEH-P5500 cd and power antenna
vabeach_03 05-06-2004, 02:57 AM either my tib shifter or my neon underbody kit
labmixz 05-06-2004, 03:19 AM I'm going to have to say the best mod on my beta2 engine was the nology wires...
so far...
evo fusion cai and bbtb be in tomorrow or friday, so... I guess we'll see then... but I've already got alot of mods, I think the most noticable was the nology wires (and changing my spark plugs)
tharptroy 05-06-2004, 05:23 AM hrmm, I think the accord intake is the best bang for buck
mcmmotorsports 05-06-2004, 06:10 AM hrmm, I think the accord intake is the best bang for buck
:iamwithst
Black04XD2 05-06-2004, 08:15 AM Fav mod I have, has to be my Compact Divisions C/F mirror covers.
TNT4ME 05-06-2004, 08:23 AM Thought about this awhile. My favorite mod would be my painted dash and gear shift cover. I get in my car and say to myself "Wow, that looks awesome" It is also the first thing I get comments on from others.
XTRAWLD 05-06-2004, 08:28 AM I'd have to say my Ixion Body Kit...next, my rimmies. I'm more show than go so anything that shows off the look of the car is my pick!
The coilovers, they really transformed the car into somethign fun to drive.
I would have to say my racing seat. The bolsters and deep seat are 5049540% better than the stock flat seat
shawn :)
CaseyGT2001 05-06-2004, 09:41 AM sticky tires, falken azenis, are the basis for all handling, and my favorite mod. Doesn't matter how tuned your suspension is, without grip you'll get no where.
RabidDogBoy 05-06-2004, 09:51 AM sticky tires, falken azenis, are the basis for all handling, and my favorite mod. Doesn't matter how tuned your suspension is, without grip you'll get no where.
Everytime you post something I get inspired... if only I had the cash to back this inspiration I'd be an AutoX fool.
03SilverBullet 05-06-2004, 09:52 AM Um I would haveto say my TV/DVD player and my radio system,I also love the way the chrome headlights look with the OEM fogs and the clear sidemarkers..Especially all superwhite.
HatchetMan 05-06-2004, 10:49 AM stock intake resonator removal. quick, easy, free, & positively noticeable
so far only thing i've done is unplugging the door chime. More peaceful without it
Elantravision 05-06-2004, 11:06 AM My rims. Hands down. Followed by my window tint. And then my Eibach lowering.
SkizziK03elan 05-06-2004, 01:24 PM well, seeing is how i only have CAI, i'd have to say that, but i'm building up suspention entirely before i do anymore engine, so after i get my KYB struts i'm ganan most likely say them.
the setup - H&R Springs(have) Tibby Sway bar(have) Tibby front strut bar, KYB struts.
