i will have to agree with the home OWNERS here...modding your home is almost better than modding your car. granted i dont own my place, but getting stuff like this done makes me enjoy my living area a lot more

and heres what i was actually going for (saw this on CL but it had been listed for ~3 weeks, and the guy hadn't responded)

WOW ! ! !

Great job Evan on the table. Want to make one for me?

Looks great and goes real well with the other furniture.

And I agree, modding a home is right up there with modding a car.

100$ for everything. that includes the table/frame (10$), sheet of wood 48x24 cut to size and double stacked, tiles (32$ but returned 10$ worth), grout, mastic, edge pieces were about 20$

wasnt too bad...the table in the picture was listed for 120$ and i woulda had to drive 2.5 hours to cleveland to get it

Nice work!

Now we all know that altezzas must be accompanied 5 a 1.75 inlet/4.5 inch outlet muffler.

Home improvement is very satisfying (unless it's repair because your wife dragged the couch across 9 vinyl tiles and gouged them, so you have to spend over 2 hours with a hammer and scraper trying to remove the old vinyl tiles so you can replace them with the spares that are luckily stored in the closet).

We were actually out shopping for tables today, but end tables more than coffee tables. The cheapest decent one we liked was $180, up to nearly $400. So, I'd say you came out ahead on your project, plus it has the satisfaction that you did it. Good work.

wow mike, that seems ironically specific.

i need to replace a few pieces of linoleum in the kitchen from pulling the fridge out to paint behind it (one HUGE gouge) and a few tiny ones from moving the washer/dryer in

hopefully i am able to replace single squares, but it looks like one big sheet

i just hate walking over it going into the laundry room...catches my foot every time, driving me nuts

Looks great Evan. It's always nice when you can take a pile of crap and make it into something outstanding.
