Woot! First piercing experience!

I just got both nipples done about a half hour ago! Got some curved barbels as the guy told me that sometimes the strait ones can be rejected easily. My tits are on fire right now lol :eek: Anyways I need some insight from people who have done this before.

They gave me a water based solution called Baxedin that I have to put on 2-3 times a day.

Should I leave a bandage on the jewlery for the first couple of days just to make sure it doesn't cling to anything?

There's no swelling or bleeding at the moment which is a good thing I'm guessing, bled just a slight bit right after but that's it. Should I be expecting anything in perticular?

Any special techniques I could use for the care? They told me I could also give it a rinse with salt and water if I want to, I think I'll do that before sleeping at night.

id ask nick...i know he had his chest (not his nipples, the area between his nipples and his colarbone/neck) pierced around the end of last year (i know this caus i went to the track w/ my old car before i turned it in)...maybe he can give you some pointers

This is a classic line:abovelol: I had 6 between the 2 ears at one point but it's back to 1 in each these days. Have had it done for, oh............................17 years now. Holy crap i'm getting old! Anyway, never had the balls to do the nips.

some dudes have udder nipples and some dudes have smaller ones. I had to have the flesh behind my nipple pierced, my buddy got his actual nipple done...tit for tat!

Felix all you need to do is take a cup of warm salty water, bend over and put your tits in them and then stand up, keep them on your chest for 5-10 minutes to let any crusty stuff loosen up. When you take your bewbs out wipe the barbells in one direction to remove anything.

Do this for the first week 3 times a day, the second week you can do it less and less only when needed. You do not need the bandages there all the time you will only end up having them dry to your nipples when and it you bleed a little. DO NOT apply polysporin or anything of the sort, it hinders the healing process with piercings, just rotate the rings when you soak them.

You will enjoy the warm water thing, its nice. Now go get your junk pierced so you can put your hammer into a warm cup...that my friend is wonderful!!!

Congrats on the new metal, it is a highly addictive habit! Ive had over 15 piercings so far, ears not included...thats for wimps!

I just got some sea salt from the convenience store, not bad, 99 cents and I'll have enough for 2 years lol. I read online that sea salt is better than regular table salt in a lot of different sources so I guess it should be good.

Right now my schedule looks like this:

- Salt soaking in the morning before work, afternoon right after work, and night time before sleeping.
- I'll bring the lotion with me to work, I'll do it once in the morning after the soak, once at lunchtime, and once after the soak at night.

I should be good.

The pain is starting to go away little by little, and didn't bleed since. Not bad I guess. The ****tiest part will be the healing process but I guess it's too late already, lol, it has to heal wether or not I'm keeping the damn things, that's the thought that keeps me going, haha.

And also, slow, I don't think I'll ever do the hammer, **** that ****! lol Then again I'd never think I would've done the bewbs so god knows...

Also, I keep looking at them and I can't decide if it was the nipple itself or not, it's like... 1.5-2mm away from the tip of the nip, I would say it's right into it.

Now I'm going to be extra paranoid for the next couple weeks trying to not bump my **** into something while I'm walking or moving boxes at my job.

Is it bad if I do physical effort during my work? I lift boxes like 9 hours a day lol I work in a shipping department. I guess I'll have a reason to slow my pace now, something my buddies have always told me to do anyways :)

Also, slow, I don't know, I read a lot about the rotation and different people seem to say different things, my piercer didn't tell me to do that. Can you elaborate on your experiences on that one for me?

It was wierd... first one he did I guess I was so nervous the endorphines in my body made me feel almost nothing so I calmed down a bit and then the second one ****ing hurt lol I was saying <****> with my lips while he was on me lol.

Dude told me that for my first time and chosing that perticular location that I was one of the most slent clients he's met, ha, then again he maybe said that to make me feel better ;)

ive been considering getting my other ear pierced, and maybe going with a small plug/guage...i dont want anything large, like something you can put a pencil thru, but i think a couple smaller ones would be cool

you need to rotate the ring in order to keep the skin inside from hardening to the barbell. This is not essential but really helps with the cleaning and the healing...and it feels really good!

When I had mine done the wife and I were play fighting the next day, she was on her back on the bed and I went to tickle her, she planted a two foot kick right into each ring...forgetting that I got em done..

It all depends, my nipples were 3 months to fully heal. The nipples are weird because its an area that always moves and gets stretched.

My OTHER piercings took only about a month.

Although I don't have any piercings, I thought I'd share this story with you:

Back in high school (keep in mind, I graduated in '98) my friend Nick got his nipple pierced. This was back when it was just becoming "mainstream" to get this sort of stuff done. He had it maybe a week before his mom found out (she was one of those over-controlling psycho types). When he told her, she reached out, crabbed the ring, and pulled it right through his nipple. Yeah. Ouch.

Do not I mean do not touch your nipples at all!!!! they will get infected really quickly. second of all use dial antibacterial soup while in the shower and rotate the rings that is it rinse and be careful of towels major pain!!!!!!!!!! I have two holes in my ear one is a 1/2 in gauge and the the second hole same ear is a 4 gauge. The most painless thing to do is strech your lobes but the down side is they are gonna be saggy lobes when i get old ha ha ha. anyways POST UP SOME PICS MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, silverdai, trust me, I haven't touched them (without thoroughly washing my hands first), and do not plan to at all. I am going to be taking care of these buggers as I want to do this right the first time, try and avoid infection and rejection aswell, though if I'm allergic to surgical steel or something I guess there's not much I can do about it can I?

On a side note, it has been around 24 hours now and it's not that bad, right nipple looks perfect, but I got a bit of bleeding from the left one today, which I am associating to the physical work I did at work , I am trying to avoid any kind of bumping into them, didn't happen today, but you never know. Or, it could just be the fact that it hit a vein or something, since it looks a tiny bit bruised on one end (where the blood came out from). I don't think I should be worrying about this?

Also I have called many of my buds to warn them that I will punch anyone in the face that even thinks about giving me a nipple twist, lol. So it looks like that's covered :)

Also, this dial soap: is it a brand? I'll go look for antibacterical soap later on today.

Very cool Felix ... glad you're having fun with the nippies. I've always gone the sea salt route for healing and it really does expedite the process. I've only done both ears and some gauging. I don't really feel like doing my nips because it's not like I'm running around with my shirt off. What good are piercings if you can't show them off!

I got both done over a year ago. The right one kept getting infected, so I had to take it out, but the left one is fine. I used saline solution to clean them. You definitely want to rotate the piercings, but be very gentle when you do it. Ripping the skin apart won't help the healing.

felix, just make sure you keep it clean. and turn the ring often. also when in the shower, turn the ring alot to rinse off any old/dead stuff.

and IF it happens to get infected (little white puss blister, looks like a huge pimple). pop it underneath it with a sharp needle and press out all the nasty crap. then use iodine to clean it. clean w/iodine about 6 times a day and it will be healed up in 2 days. it happened to one of mine while i was on vacation. kinda nasty when you have to squeeze crap out, but well worth it to not take out the ring.


and welcome to the begining of the end. you'll want to get more and more stuff pierced. its like tattoos, once you get one, youll most likely get another and another.

I would post up my piercings but this a quaint little place, no need for uproar. I can tell everyone that nipples hurt the worst out of the "normal" piercings, when you do something like an apadravya or amphallang then the nipples seem like a mosquito bite.

I really like the labret ... I think it would look great nestled in my goatee.

The danger of infection is present, but not that dangerous considering it's already healed for him.

All he needs to do is make sure he gives the johnny a good wash once in a while just like normal people ;)

Pretty good I must say, I don't want to jinx it, ha.

Been doing the sea-salt soaks at least twice daily, applying the Baxedin about 3 times aswell, every 6 hours or so. I don't have any pain whatsoever except if I get it hooked somewhere or something (while removing the shrink wrapping of a pallet i punched myself in the chest today OUCH) but other than that it is all good yay :)

Only thing is at the end of the day usually there is a tiny bit of blood-crust on the edges, barely noticable, comes out when i take a shower and rotate the rings and whatnot.

Doesn't bleed when I push the barbels left and right when cleaning during showering so I guess it's a good sign :)

All in all I'm very happy with the results until now and also I can say that when my shirt makes contact with the barbs it gives a nice feeling! ha! Very sensitive at the moment but it was expected, can't wait until it heals and I can let the old lady touch em!
