View Full Version : Turbo tuning
One of my friends just recently purchased a turbo and is ganna be building his own kit.
Is there anywhere in the pittsburgh area that will tune turbo's? Cause if my friend does it, I know for a fact he's just ganna crank it and run it till it blows up...5 seconds later...

look around the area for Dyno shops.... some dyno shops do dyno tuning.
the guy who is gonna tune mine lives in Mass. so hes gotta drive down when we start doing the install.

Hybrid dynamics in Youndwood, PA is your best bet. They specialize in Nissan and Honda tuning. It's won't be cheap though, it's 150/hour for Jay/Dennis to rune your car. But just to put this into perspective, they have a 240 that has dipped into the high 8's, so you can be confident in them.

No, the ls1 240 was on Pinks, this is a SR20 swap with some huge *** turbo.
Sweetness, thanks sean. Is there anywhere else you'd recommend that might be a little cheaper?
He's lookin for a place thats decent priced, but won't do a **** job.

Your not going to find any cheaper places around here. I would be willing to help him, but I need to know what he is using for fuel management, a wideband, and some time to read up.
All he has so far is the BOV, turbo, oil line, etc.
He's getting it part by part, but i'll try and build a list.
