last day...

so today is pretty much my last day here at work before i start the new job. i told them i would work sat morning, since i gave them my notice on the 30th, and technically, 2 weeks would have been mon the 13th...since training at the new place starts then, i told them i would work thru sat

spent the last hour or so cleaning out my desk, and found a lot of old crap i didnt think i still had. got that feeling while cleaning it out that im gonna miss this place a bit, because of the people ive met here, but i know i can still get ahold of them whenever

really, this is the first job ive left after being here for a while...i dont count my 2 years of delivering pizza because i didnt really deal with anyone in the store, and it was like a revolving door of employment there...i didnt really get to know anyone that was there, as they would be gone within a couple months

so im just trying to burn thru my last 2.5 hours here today, and 4 hours tomorrow morning, and i will be on my way to hopefully (knock on wood) a better opportunity to make a lot more money and work for a better company

not as easy to leave this place as i thought it would be. as much as i dont want to stay here, im almost wishing im not leaving. ugh.

I know how you feel. It was hard quitting my job in April because I had worked there for 6 years and I loved all the people there, it's too bad the job sucked so much.

And, I'm leaving my current job at the end of next week. Even though it's only been 3 months it still kind of sucks because the people there are cool too.

Like you say, you can always visit them or go eat lunch or something.

well, i was told today not to worry about coming in tomorrow. not them being dicks, but i guess it starts a new pay period tomorrow and they said not to worry about it

so tonight, i am trying to polish off the last 10 bud ice's i have and have a nice hangover tomorrow...that hasn't happened since probably HITH

im on 3 now. i think i can get to 6 easily. 5.5% beer FTMFW!
