Mission plates coming to the XDs

I got ahold of him and I shipped out mine so he can get the template done. According to Bryan all the xds are the same, i just want to make sure this is true.

I'm pretty sure the pocket is different from XD to XD2.

Also, it won't work for me since I have the seat heater Korean pocket. Too bad.

No, I've owned both the XD and XD2, and the pockets are the same, no difference at all.


And Cypher, that's is just awesome. Can't wait to see a finished product and order it. Thank you for doing this for us.

I talked to bryan whos had an XD and XD2 and he said they are the same so i'm going off there. If someone ith an XD2 could post what theirs looks like that'd be great.

I'm not sure what the design is going to be yet. Hes using it as a template. What do you think would be best? ElantraXD, AvanteXD or what?

Careful guys. I know the outside of the pocket is DEFINITELY different from the XD to XD2. Perhaps the inside is the same, but comparing them side by side is the best idea I think.

personally I would just like it to say "Mission Plate" j/k. I would like it to say XD on it. Because you dont see the newtiburon guys putting newtiburon on their mission plate. Avante XD and Elantra XD......Lets just keep XD.

in case it was lost in my post, I just sent out the plate on monday so OBVIOUSLY it must first reach Texas and then he has to design it.

I have another idea for a good product but I'll save that for when I have it being devloped as well

I wonder how hard it would be to incorporate the new logo with the old cartoon-ish looking XD's that were on the old site. It was the same ones that were on the original shirts.

That way it would be more like the one made for the Tib. It would have the lettering as well as a graphic.

Update: Got a message back from him. He'll start on it tomorrow and will contact me again monday to tell me how its going. Looks like we might have these fairly soon! James also sent him the EXD logo so that he could decide what works best.

Can't wait to see the product. If i get pictures from him i'll be sure to share them.

I still wear mine to all of the car shows that I go to. It has become my favorite shirt because I wear it so much and it's gotten really soft.

Anyway, I think that one of those cars would be cool on the plate.
