The hatch came in handy! Good job on packing it in there BTW.

That is exactly why I got the 5 door and it looks better too.

I always associated loading the car with Tetris. I did it enough in my moves to/from college and place to place in between... I could've won the gold if car packing were in the olympics.

That's the reason why my next car will most likely still be a hatch or wagon :D

Nice illustration of why hatchbacks are so practical; I've never packed mine as full as that, though! I think they look better, too.

I moved about 6 months ago, each apartment was about 40 miles away from each other. Anyway, almost every night for about a week, me and my wife took a load in the Elantra 5-door and my Neon to the new apartment. By the end of the week we had moved everything except the couch, dinner table, beds, washer, dryer, and freezer. Everything else we moved our selfs. Always had the hatch closed so no bungie cords used. It was great. When my family came to help us "finish" they couldn't believe how much we had already moved on our own with our cars. The Elantra was a great saver when we moved.

I moved with the GT in Feb.....it can hold so much stuff....when my stereo is out of the trunk anyway.

yeah...ididnt move my seat at all...i have short little legs so having it leaning back really didnt affect the cargo space :D
