Have any of you guys had people who weren't used to your car get confused by your speedo? My mom thought i was driving way slow on a busy street and got kinda ticked off.

Kinda pointless, but just wondering.

Huh? I don't get the question you are asking. Was she looking at the tach?

No, she was confused by the way the numbers on the speedo are set up. It confused me the first time i looked at it. I can't explain it, but the Elantra speedo just seems a bit confusing if you aren't familiar with it.

I'm with 04. Ur not making any sense. Or perhaps the fact that we see nothing wrong with the speedo.

Maybe because most domestics (at least the ones I've been in) go from 0-5-15-25-35 and so on...Elantras use 0-10-20-30-40.

I seriously fail to see how the speedo is confusing (I'm not taking about my J2 speedo but the many XD/XD2 speedo I see in regular meets)

That's because the angle from the passenger seat makes the speedo appear to be about 5mph slower. Not really confusing, just misleading.

If you can't read this speedo, you'll be REALLY confused reading some of the Ford ones.

I think the speedo in the XD2 is one of the biggest one's out there. Should be really easy to read.

If you are sitting in the passenger seat, it won't read right. Never has, never will.

Thanks Mr Obvious. Too bad I already said that:
