I just finished, after about an hours worth of work, trimming my 06's gauge cluster with chrome rings...let me know what you guys think.

wow looks very good. took only an hour??? did you use the rings from 01-03 elantras.

No, I used A trim product normally used on the exterior, came in a 20 foot roll, had 3M adhesive backing, just cut and applied..cost me whole wapping $13 to do it, plus time. bought the stuff at local Autozone...

You more detail on the trim product. Where did you get it and actual name. Or you could just start making kits for us. :)

The product is "Custom Chrome"...made by Cowles Products Company...I bought it at Autozone here in Poughkeepsie, NY. Here are some additional pics. including the product itself...1/8" chrome strip 20' length. Kinda funny they show an Elantra GT in the photo on the package

ive seent hat product at autozone before, bout a month ago, only noticed it cause it has an elantra on it.

Looks good (although I prefer a thicker ring). Seems like a good, cheap mod.
