I don't remember that particular day to be honest. I remember it being in the middle of the week though.

I don't remember the day, but I remember the spot where the instructor had me pull over and then said to the other people "Well, James is getting his license now because he can drive." Every I drive by the spot I say "That's where I got my license" to the annoyance of the other people in the car that know because I say it every time.

^^I only remember it because some guy in a s-10 blocked in my car at the DMV so me, my buddy and some stranger picked up the back end and moved his truck to the other side so I could get out. It was a Thursday in July..................13 years ago!

wierd to think it was 6 years ago. luckily my in-car instructions were in a malibu, and thats what my mom had, so it wasnt a change for the parallel parking

whats funny is every so often while im driving i think to myself "i never thought the day i could drive would come, and now i can!" so much better not having to get someone to drive you around.

I didn't even have to take a driving test. Written and eye test only. Walked out in about 30 minutes IIRC. I know it was a quick in/out. Don't remember what we did after that.

I had to take the written part (all under 16 do) then the drivers test, on separate days. You have to pass the written before you can take the driving. Now you can't get a license until you turn 16, so there is no more written test.

I did at an at home deal. My parents taught me to drive. Well, i got my license today, but they gave me some stupid piece of paper. I have to wait for my real license to come in the mail.
