Blue Door Lights?

I am pondering changing the stock red door lights in my 03 GLS to Blue ones. I was thinking about making a plexi cover and then replacing the bulb. Has anyone else attempted this mod? If so could you post some pictures and info on how it went? Also, thinking about interrior lighting, ie. tubes under the dash and stuff. Any suggestions on wiring and location?
