Anyone play this game?
I'm stuck in the theater in Dante's Hotel and Casino, when Jung is attempting to download terrorist intel. If any of you have gotten to this point, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. I have been trying to get past this point for at least an hour now, and it's starting to aggravate the piss out of me.

I have not played that game for a few months. I can not remember.

It's right before the end of the level, when you're on the stage trying to defend the data hub. You're pretty much out in the open and have to take out around 25-30 guys, half of them up in the balconies.
I've given up on trying it tonight, I've already wasted an hour and a half with no success.

ive only played it once, and my friend already beat it... but i think the only way that it was beaten was by tag teaming it (have an extra set of eyes on the radar) so no one can sneak up on you

You have to send a BIA to the computer, if I remember correctly there's a hidding spot beside the computer.
You also should take the gun with the biggest magazine. The first wave is on the balcony, the second wave will be the seats, use your frags on the seats wave.
After that you have to climb the ladder and pass the walkway. You have to climb a few steps if I remember correctly and the chopper is there waiting for you.

I'm all out of grenades, I wish there was an equipment locker hiding nearby.

lol there is none, but it doesn't matter if you're out of nades, just shoot the bastards by standing/crouching behind the hidding spot.

Recommendation is restarting that mission with the P90 and G3KA4 w/ 6x scope.
When you send Jung to the hub, and he starts in, send Micheal to the spot behind the box/crate on the left side and you go to the box on the right with the MG on it. DO NOT USE THE MG, you'll get your *** canned. And you want to avoid attracting fire to the data hub, hence goign behind the boxes. Even this way it still isn't easy and incindiaries make this a lot easier, but rifle and scope are your friend.
Note: I've played the story about 5 times now
You play on 360 or PC? If PC, I'm Jedisilentwolf online.

I'm playing on 360.
I've been using the P90 and the Scout Tactical, trying back and forth, but I cant get them all before they damage the data hub.
The thing that really pisses me off, sometimes they come to the balconies first, then the scouts come into the floor area, and sometimes it's the other way around.

Those bolt sniper rilfes actually wind up slowing you down. Only the PSG1 or G3 will get you thru because of how many show up.
Also helps if you were playing on the PC ;) Aiming is faster.

Munky, this is what I would suggest...
Send Jung in to get the intel, then send Michael in near the turrent gun on the right side. I stayed behind the boxes to the left of the computer. This way you have the bad guys shooting in two separate directions. I would keep an eye on the top of the seats for the sniper that's up there are well as for the guys that are fast roping in. Get them before they land and you'll be set. Grenades help for the guys on the floor, but it's not necessary.
Once you get past that and Jung is done, be careful it's not entirely over yet, there's still a few more guys around (don't want to say too much as some people already have). Oh, and don't worry, most people that have played the game get stuck on that part for a while.
It's an amazing game. (Even if jalmir helped make it, haha).

I remember that board! Sweet game. What I did to pass this board was use lot's of smoke grenades and pick the guys off through the smoke with the infrared goggles. It's hard, but it was the only way I could pass that level!
Also, I thought there was an ammo crate right outside the door you came into that area.

Must be another game ur thinking of DJ. No ammo crates in Vegas.
Super: Thats basically what i told him to do as well  Just reversed sides, thats all.
Jalmir: You helped create it?!? Any news of expansions? Also are there hidden weapons in the game code? or new ones coming out?

There are ammo crates. It's how you choose/switch your weapons and grenades.

Yeah I worked on Vegas, there are cheats in the game but they are deactivated on the retail version, the release (dev) version have all the cheats in it but you'll never see it! loll
About expansions, I don't know ...

Ya that would have made it a LOT easier. Here i was choosing the weapons i wanted and going thru the WHOLE section with only what i carried (esp grenades) and pilfering bodies for gun ammo or new guns. Granted it is challenging that way

You know how you can select new weapons before you get off the helicopter in certain missions? Well, there are ammo boxes on each level that let you do the same thing. I don't know how you made it through the game not knowing that! The game is pretty tough as it is!

FINALLY!
After trying for another 45 minutes, I got it.
Jesus, I hope I never have to do that mission again.
There WAS an equipment locker backstage, up against the wall, took me a while to find it. After that, I had my smoke/incendiary grenades, made it MUCH easier.

To be honest the only equipment crate I ever noticed was the one on the train stage at the beginning.
My favorite gun is the MTAR21 with the rifle scope. The best part is that in the later levels all the "Special Ops" (I forget the real name of the enemies dressed in black) have them, so you'll always have plenty of ammo, unlike the earlier levels where the enemies have crappy guns.
I need to find some time in between Halo 3 to get back to the Terrorist Hunt on the Hard difficulty, that's some pretty hard stuff that makes you want to throw your controller, especially when you have 3 enemies left and they all run up on you and murder your *** hardcore... ahh, the memories.

Ya seems like that in retrospective. Am serious tho when i say i've played thru the story 5 times now, and had yet to figure out there were ammo crates. SOO needless to say i learned to USE my gun and save the grenades n incindiaries. Probably what has made me fairly potent online.
I like the G36C (hell i have a G36C and G36K airsoft guns, They're pretty guns :D) but only one level (enemy wise)just before the micropulse in the tower uses the C and thus Its a use and drop weapon if u select it at the beginning of ur missions.
So my usual arsenal was:
P90 w/reflex scope
G3KA4 w/6x scope
Glock 18
Grenade
Incindiary
For online:
G36C w/ 6x scope
Glock 18
Incindiary
C4
