Hey just spreading the word on another Tib meet up in CT on October 27th. i'll be heading up there with the Long Island Tib Crew.

I,m going to try and make it. I have to bring my kids too. my son went with me last time, first time for my daughter.

how old are they? its a state park so depending on the temperature, it could be fun for them.

my daughter is 5yrs old.

^^That state park is really just a big field, a small beach and a hiking trail up to Black Rock. Not much for kids to do there. That's in my home town, too bad I can't make this one.

my son is 8, daughter just turned 5, Last time we threw the foot ball around for awhile.
It is a big open area I will just bring some toys for them to play with. bring hooded sweatshirts for them. My kids love to play outside.

Watch it man. 6 gets tricky in Thomaston because there are no signs to let you know where the turns for it are. Believe me, it's more than a left and right. Just make sure you google it first.

ive already looked at the maps... and even printed some out... i have a grid map, and a satelite map. so... once i hit the end of route 6... it really does look like, a left, then a right into the park... but ofcourse... ill have to leave a trail of bread crumbs to find my way back. haha

Before GPS I use to do that all the time, Plan my trip there & never plan my excape :rolleyes: Did a good job on getting into Wash DC, went thru alot of interesting neighborhood come back out :eek: , I got lost at the last XD meet at the state park, good thing I saw Scott & Kylemorg drving by.. I'm not sure exacty where this meet is at. :confused:

I went to 2 meets there. When you pull in it was the 2nd parking lot toward the right, if I remember correctly , But I could see every one as soon as I pulled in to the park. I should be there about 1:30pm or so.

Dude, look at vsolo's link. You printed yourself a map to Black Rock dam, not the state park. Don't turn onto 109, just stay straight on 6 toward Watertown and the park will be on your right.

Black Rock lake is the dam, not the park. They're very close together but the park is on route 6 and the dam is on 109. Just don't go up 109, stay on 6 toward Watertown and you'll run right into it. Now that this is on Sunday, I may go after all.

oh well, I couldn't make it.

I ended up doing a timing belt, cam seals, valve cover gasket, accy belts on a 3000gt DOHC in a driveway in 50 degree weather.
I was not a happy camper.

I want to go to a meet though, I need to show off my stuff before winter !!
