I ordered a whole bunch of black vinyl and it was supposed to be in my hands today but i wasn't home to receive it, i will be getting them tomorrow. i'm going to be using them to cover my door panel crap and stuff. i'm going to buy the CF Door Inserts from carbonman just like the guy from Puerto Rico has in his orange XD. then i'm going to paint the little pieces on the doors red and black to go with the rest of the theme that i want to go in my interior. i will be taking pictures of the process for those who are interested of how i will be doing it. what would you guys think? if you think disaster, just wait until sunday when i get to do this project, i just know it's going to be kick ***.

Ehh... I don't see how black, orange, and red will work together. I would use silver, black, and orange or silver, black, and red. I just can't see the red and orange working together.

BTW, I am just picturing it in my mind, it could look awesome. I definitely wanna see pics though

haha yeah i liked the place i got them from. i got them from www.leatherseats.com

you put in what kind of car you have even though you would just be buying vinyl and then you scroll down to "Leather Hides and Matching Vinyl" and you can go from there.

did you paint the plastic black????looks horrible imo im sorry. the bottom half of ur doors look great and the middle but the top looks like garbage.

i wasn't planning on painting it. when i saw how hard it was going to be to cover that part with the vinyl, i gave up. and i don't know what you're talking about, i don't think that me painting it made it look horrible. the paint that i used was the duplicolor vinyl paint, so it will not chip and will bend with it when pressure is applied by someone's arm or something.

Yeah I don't think the black paint looks good.

You need one dominating color, and one for accents. You chose red, OK. Stick with the grey vinyl, because the black gloss looks bad :(

Basic rules for designing is the 2 color rule ;) Once you get it right you can start experimenting but in your case I would say that you should stick to only 2.

i didn't originally want "3" colors, because i was going for a black/red theme. i also was thinking that it's going to accent it once i get the carbon fiber inserts..

I'll reserve comment until I see the c/f installed. Eliminating the grey cloth would make it look a lot better.

Think I would attempt the top with vinyl again. If that were to match the rest of the door it would look down right sexy IMO.

Agree with above comments.

The vinyl and cloth look great, near professional work..but gloss black on the top ruins it. It sticks out like a sore thumb.

I'm with Bdiggy...try covering it with the vinyl, that would make it look amazing.
