Some of you may have seen my mention that I am trying to collect emblems from different car manufacturers. I'm not buying them all at once, but just casually going to build my collection until I have nearly all the manufactureres covered. I'm looking for a list of Car-makers not available in the U.S. Alfa Romeo is an example. if anyone has one (a list), or has a name to contribute, please share. Oh, and if you really care, I'm only looking for authentic or real badges, no knock-off or replica badges. I know that'll make the collection harder to obtain, but that's part of the fun. Thanks.

Can't leave out Plymoth & Eagle then... and other older brands like Packard(but I don't care about those old ones.

Get this... the cheapest I can find an authentic Lamborghini Badge (so far) is $190! Won't be getting that one anytime soon... yet the 25th aniversary Countach badge is only 110... curious.

This is actual quite a fun thing to collect so far... it's given me something to look for on Ebay other than countless elantra items I've already seen. Not to mention an excuse to go check out all the junkyards.

Oh yea, Vauxhall goes on the list too.

Holy Jeeezuuuussss! there's over 400 on that list... my simple list I had was at 61. A lot of those companies don't count in my book though, as the vehicles were not mass-production, or were from a land before time. Vector, for example... builds 12 cars a year. Cool cars, (I think so, only seen them in Gran Turismo) but 12 isn't enough to count at this point in time. Maybe by the time I'm 80 and old, gray, and lonely, I'll be able to pursue such a detailed list... but for now here's what I think I'll go after:

Acura
* Alfa Romeo
Aston Martin
Audi
Bentley
BMW
Buick
Cadillac
Chevrolet
Chrysler
* Citroen
* Cosworth
Dodge
Ferrari
* Fiat
Ford
GMC
* Holden
Honda
Hummer
Hyundai
Infinity
* Intenational
Isuzu
Jaguar
Jeep
Kia
* Lada
Lamborghini
* Lancia
Land Rover
Lexus
Lincoln
Lotus
Maserati
Maybach
Mazda
Mercedes-Benz
Mercury
Mini
Mitsubishi
Nissan
Oldsmobile
* Opel
* Peugeot
Pontiac
Porsche
* Renault
Rolls-Royce
* Rover
Saab
Saturn
Scion
* Seat
* Skoda
* Smart
Subaru
Suzuki
* Talbot
Toyora
* Vauxhall
Volkswagen
Volvo

P.S. Don't think I'll be able to pull off the Maybach though.

Don't forget MG. They were available in the US in the 60's but not anymore. I wish they were, though 'cause they make a neat little convertible in the UK!

My old boss had 2 MGs, forgot about that. Here's some good-priced used ones if anyone needs a project:

Isn't the new Pontiac GTO basically a rebadged Holden Monaro? So technically.........
