Welcome to EXD.

Be careful what you say about racing your friends..this site does not condone street racing.

Welcome to the site.

A 94-97 CAI for an accord will work fine with the XD2 (see if you can get a 2.75" one... you'll need to get a couple of extra couplers too...). Just make sure you have a good hacksaw to cut out a piece for the MAF (and a good sharp blade if you want to cut the couplers in half if you don't want to buy the extra couplers). Search the site for more info on the install.

It'll give you at least 45whp... lol, try 4.5whp, but it is noticeable on the butt dyno (one of my favorite mods).

im in Weston florida in fort lauderdale.
sorry if i offend anyone about street racing. i know its stupid but i assure you that it wasnt on any road. its a section of a dead end road off of state road 27. its about 2 miles long. no ones goes there except dump trucks. i usually dont do this stupid stuff. if anything i go to moroso to race my truck.
this car is my daily commute. im going to mod it but nothing crazy. im doing to fit my needs and to save gas. just wondering the size of the shift knob as i want to upgrade from the stock one. the number plate thing broke off so it looks stupid. i read on one thread in the interior section that a nissan sentra or maxima knob would fit our sticks?
thanks for the input for the cai. i had just bought a cone filter from pep boys. i was just thinking of putting it onto the stock ripple tube. i know its not the best way, you folks think i would get gas milage that way? or am i better off getting a tube and cutting a hole for the maf? exactly how does the maf connect to the tube?
thanks a bunch guys for your help and the warm greetings.

sorry cant edit my posts cause i cant see them yet.
but i havent seen any other blue hyundai's so to me its kinda like a dark blue. ill see if i can get a camera from my parents in law to take a pic and show you guys.

also is it worth changing the exhust in these cars for gas milage?
i mean if i do its gotta be as close to stock (silent) as possible. im sorry but i cannot stand the sound of a 4cyl.
any other tips for gas saving mods are welcome

Depends on what you want to do with it and if you want a bit of rumble and pickup. Most people suggest a catback with a resonator (glasspack muffler) with a Magnaflow muffler. Pipe sizes good for the car, N/A is about 2 inches to 2.25 (maximum) from the 2nd cat back. Fartcans are out.
