radio recption woes

I have an '06 Elantra and managed to rack up 50,ooo trouble free miles on it in the last 9 mos. My radio (factory) reception has been gradually decreasing. I'm thinking it's a simple grounding matter - is this correct? How do I access the radio ??? How do I remove the dash panels to get in there?
