But, at least your car is setup for some practicality, and some performance. I'd prefer that to a car with 19" rims, a ground-scraping bodykit, speaker box so big the back seat is unusable, and a wing that would make the Air Force jealous.

Mike, the only thing I dislike more thanthe woodgrain : the stock dark plastic. Makes me feel claustrophobic. So the woodgrain brightens it up and makes it feel bigger, even if it's only perception. Plus it came with the car.

Hey I like clean, lightly modded Elantras. I mean this chasis and powertrain were designed to be a nice, comfy, reliable little commuter. It's one thing to tweak a couple of things and make it more enjoyable for yourself. But we'll never get the money and time back, so depending on how far you want to stray from the XD's original intent it's probably worth starting with something else, no? Unless it's just a hobby.

i can do your turn signals in amber like us XD2 guys have if you would like, Bob. wouldnt take too much work at all. and i also have an extra set of headlight bezels if you want to get crazy custom and have some that match your car or anything else for that matter...lol

pop off the headlight housing, some Krylon stained glass paint, clear, and put it all back together. shouldnt take more than a couple hours depending on temprature. and just to make sure there isnt any difference with the corner lights, i would do them too.
