so this guy i was sorta cool with, went to chicago HIN with, some of you may have heard of him, does CF work...im not gonna plug his website caus...well im not...has a couple del sol's. one, is white, with i believe the 1.5 in it, and the other is black and has the 1.6.
he swears that he can beat me in a race in the black car...
i go out to the car meet and get out of my car and the first thing i hear is "hyundai's are slow" then everyone starts laughing...so i went up, im like **** you...since your car is "so hot" lets go race right now...he wants to race me for slips...im not dumb, so i told him im not racing for slips, but i had over 100$ in my pocket i would throw down right now...(ive tried to get him to go before but he was "too tired" or didnt want to go) so he's like "i dont have 100$...so im like "well you wont need it since youre so confident youre gonna win"...he never went
so im working yesterday (delivering pizzas) go by his house to drop off a pizza, and on the way back, his car is parked opposite way im going so he gets in, busts a u turn and starts following me...so we get to this road where there are 2 left turn lanes onto the main road in town...theres a van in the right, left turn lane, so i get in the left and hes behind me...light turns, i take it at a normal speed, then once were going straight, i punch it a little to let him get over...theres a light about 1/4 mile ahead, so were both doing like 25 (40 zone) and im about 8 cars from the light and it turns yellow...so i stop..and he gets to the light...i told him "lets go right now...im gonna prove that my car is faster than your del slow" so he says ok...light turns, we take off...get to about 75 and i have him by at least a car and a half and were coming into town (25, cops will let you slide @ 35) and i had to turn on the first street in town, so we slammed the brakes and i turned...he looked as he went by with a look on his face like "what the **** happened"
now for the best part...on his white car he has little 3" stickers of every car he has "beaten"...i put that in "" marks caus he has one of a viper he put on there caus i guess he pulled up next to it, and it wasnt racing so he figured he would put it on...
so i get online and im him and said "so i think you owe me a del sol sticker...ill take it in white caus i dont think black would show on my car too well (dont worry i wasnt going to put it on, i just wanted to rub it in) and what happens? "oh well you have a 2.0 and i have a 1.6 and im still learning to drive stick and i need to learn how to launch and i have holes in my exhaust (caus he put dual exhaust on it) and hes like "if i had anything done to my car you wouldnt win....(his car - CAI, "dual" exhaust, strut bar...i think he might have headers...my car - CAI, exhaust, shortshifter, 2 12" subs in trunk...i know hes got a lot less weight in that little car)......so now im thinking "why are you wanting to bet slips then?" so i told him...i dont want to hear you talking **** about my car anymore...i told him i was getting the turbo kit and he said some **** about "you dont have an engine to support it"...so i told him, quit tryin to make excuses why you lost....i told him "until you win a race, i dont want you to be talking **** about my car...especially yelling **** out @ the car meets...we know whos car is faster now."
haha...i havent seen him look out his window once (which he always does when he hears an exhaust) since he lost...havent seen him out working on his cars, nothing...
i should have put the slips up...i could have used it as a delivery car...such rice though...cf hood, primered front bumper, molded into fenders, with CF fender flares, primered side skirts, primered tib rear bumper (if you all wanna kill him for that ill tell you where he lives lol) cf alteeza tail lights, and a wing that might be off a tib...and a CF targa top...doesnt look good.
i know, street racing is stupid, but when you get as much **** as i have, i had to shut him up some how.
