View Full Version : *sigh* sometimes... life sucks
So after almost 3 years my g/f broke up with me.
sometimes life is grand, and sometimes it just blows.. why do i keep getting ultra attached and dating people for years on end. This past relationship, edging toward 3 years. The one before that, almost 2 and a half.. of course, each time your with someone for that kinda time its going to be tough.
but since my g/f.. well now ex, but since she went to school over an hour away its like im not just breaking up with her. but im breaking up with a whole nother group of friends too. so between that, and her family and friends and all that stuff. yeah, im pretty much screwed at the moment. im sure things will calm down at some point. but for a while.. life=poop.

Yeah, I can imagine it sucks hardcore. With that said, like we always say on EXD, it's probably for the best and you'll find another girl.
On the good side, just think of the gas money you'll be saving, and the girlfriend spending money you'll be saving. Then you can fix up your house and car more which will make you happy as well.

I was always one for those relationships that measured in years as well. Makes it that much harder when it ends but i'm a believer in "everything happens for a reason." Keep your head up and things will turn around for ya dude!

i hear ya on the break-ups man. im a serial dater. i love to date many chicks, but not good in actual relationships. did the long term relationships before, 3yrs, 5yrs. in a 6month now and cant wait for it to end. ther are always more fish in the sea, and eventually you'll get back into a groove that your comfortable with.

eh, im sure ill be fine, its just like my thoughts/feeling on the whole exp just flux with my mood. if im really in a good mood i feel like i know ill get over it, but if im in a crap *** mood then i just feel like it sucks and its goign to be so hard to get over her etc. and i think about the good times and the bad and blah blah blah... eh.. it just sucks that its so hard. but like yall said.. im sure ill be fine in time :D tx for the replies

You should get a job at a library, there are plenty of good looking women at the library. Mostly older and married, but hey, it's all good.
Of course, you work at a university right? I'm sure there is plenty women there.

she wil be moving out this weekend. woo hoo. i get my condo back, my bathroom back, my garage back, and my porn. :D
gave her the old, we'll still date, but we need to take a step back. thats just me being polite for "get the F out". damn, hope she dont snoop her *** over here and read this before saturday/sunday.
dont sweat the small stuff man. you will eventually get over her, you might not think so atm. but you will. beleive me, im 30 and have had quite a few chicks i loved and got screwed over by them. thats when a booty call comes into play. helps you forget/get over her real quick. :D
