They won't fit the 01-03 XD because the mounts are slightly different. I know the tails won't fit the XD's because the metal behind the lens is shaped so the lens won't slide in all the way. If I'm correct, the shape of the lens is slightly squared off and won't fit the bodyline at the top edge on the older version; which is rounded.

2. This is true, but it would fit if you got the 04 trunk as well if it weren't for the first problem you mentioned.

I kinda like the 01-03 rear end better on the GLS's. The 04 tails look a little too much like a Kia (even though we make Kia). The 04 GT's are hot though!
