how does every suggest i do it? cut whole in the kit? or kinda have it go out towards the middle?

I know there's quite a few people with this kit, someone will have an answer. Personally, I wouldn't want to cut a hole in the kit.

i agree if i have to cut it then im scrapping the muffler!
I have been looking at going with a muffler with turn down tips, so it would point down away from the kit.

I just put an extension (3") on mine to clear the kit even on the bottom, works great...

I'll take a closeup today and post a little later (at work now). Because our tailpipe curves down (45 degrees), the extension clears the kit. When you look at the car from the back the extension is about 1/8 th inch below the kit. We have VERY big speed bumps here and I have not had a problem yet.

I say cut the bumper. If you cut it properly and use sand paper the right way you can make it look like it was supposed to be that way. Youll need touch up paint too for the inside edge of the bumper.

Has worked great for the time I have had the kit on...no warping or melting. Availble at you local automotive store.
