Wii~~ Where are you~~

Damn.. I'm trying to get a wii but none of stores near my house have it... all sold out during this thanksgiving holiday.. =( Anyone know where I can find one or know when wii get ship to stores?? I looked into the craiglist.. but I don't trust there so... pass that... where are you WIIIIII~~:confused:

I got mine at a Toys-R-Us near me. We were #'s 9 & 10 when we got in line at 3am. They put about 35 or so out for sale on Sundays. Call a store up and ask if/when the will put any out to sell.

They have be consistantly sold out since there release. everywhere. I got mine by luck at the wal mart my wife works at. She calle dme and said they just got like 8 of em. by the time i got there( 5 minute drive they had one left.

Yeah, it's pretty amazing to think that they have been sold out for over a year now. With that said, I think I might know someone that has one for sale (new). Let me check that out for you.

Try sites like Wiitracker (and others) to try to get continuous updates. Sunday's seem like the best day to find them. I would go out today and see what happens.

I did try to call stores but all they said were.... No.. we are sold out on wii.. try next week....:(
I tried best buy,gamestop, toys r us, circuitcity, fradmayer,wal-mart, and any stores that might sell wii... but no luck... awwww

A friend of mine that was looking for one for her family called GameStop and asked when their deliveries were. She went got one by being at the store when the truck came in.

Got my wife's on Craigslist for $375 last Christmas. But I searched locally, contacted the seller, and personally went to pick it up. I wouldn't send money over the net for a craigslist item.

Na, they havent been sold out consistantly. You could pick them up anywhere between February and October. Nintendo has a shortage on them right now, which is why you cant find them.

My roommate just sold his for $350 on CL because it was boring. he bought it in like april, played through zelda, went and looked for other games and found nothing but Disney titles. woo? Neither one of us really saw the appeal after the novelty of the controller (which pretty much sucks) wore off.

Now if we were missing some crazy awesome games, please do tell, because for a couple months, we kept looking for something else to play, and didnt find anything.

Ive been told EBgames and GameStop get a shipment of like 10 every tuesday, might be worth a shot. I certianly wouldnt pay more than $250 for one, unless you're buying it for your kids to play Disney games. Other wise, grab a Xbox or PS3 for the price used Wii's are going for

I've only seen them at the store twice (both at Target) since launch. And I think most people will tell you the same thing. You are right to point out that they were easier to find during those months, but it's not like there was 20 of them at each retailer at all times (like a PS3 or 360). That's all.

Super Mario Galaxy, Battalion Wars 2, Zack & Wiki, Power Pro Baseball, Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles, Trauma Center New Blood, Mario Strikers, Super Paper Mario, Metroid Corruption, etc. All games worth playing.

And yeah I can tell you that the wii has a waiting list at every wal-mart in Pa, Va and West Va. My wife uses her gemini at work to look at all the stores inventories....It took me almost 4 months to get mine And stores Don't know when they are getting any or How many htey are getting. They are shipped in via UPS. Not on their regular freight trucks.

They, the Toys-R-Us, in Annapolis had 100+ 3 weeks ago they let go on a Sunday. The Sunday I went they sold 39, I know a guy in the stock room and he told me they have over 100 still and they are letting some go out every Sunday to generate traffic thru the store each week till Christmas.

I had been trying to get one since they came out and got lucky this past summer. Walked into a Circuit City on a Saturday about 20 minutes after they opened up and asked someone about it. I about fell over when he said yes, got 5 in on the truck that morning. I got mine, called my friend, he came and got one that day too. All 5 were sold out within 30 minutes of me getting the first one.

But yeah, good luck getting one now. They are the hottest thing for Christmas for a reason. They are just too fun.

amazing what a few hours south of you will do. At any point after the holiday rush, you could walk in to any place that sold Wii's and pick up at least 5-6, hell my roommate bought 2 from the same place, one for his parents and one for him self.
