well finally i got my floor bar. now will it give me any handling improvements? probably not, but it does make my friends hate the back seat and drive their own cars from now on:rolleyes:. so now i dont have to drive more then 1 person around:D :

Hmmm. Even if that did have some sort of handling improvements I couldn't justify the install because of the way it looks. Not my cup of tea, but if it makes you happy.............

rigidness is allways needed and if you add that in with front and rear bars it makes for an overall good improvement in chassis rigidness. BUT if you have it in there just by itself with no other bars i would say it probably has no feelable effect.

well i have front and rear strut bars and a 19 mm rear sway bar. but i dont think it improves anything. like tonight my friends were like lets take ur car since it has a good sound system and all and i was like i installed a floor bar for good handling so we have to take ur intrepid instead

There is a guy up the way from me that has a suspension shop. He makes custom roll cages. I am going to have a X Frame brace. I think that its definately going to be a bit better than the floorbar.

i hate the tiburon since the windoes are small and i have like no head room. i love the elantra thou.

i also have subs in the back so no one can ride trunk and now only 2 people can seat in the back and uncomfortably so now well just use my friends intrepid or another friends caravan:D. no more driving my car everynight to play pool at random bars

^^I kinda like having my car be seen in the summer so I can't say i'd want to go in a friends car instead. You don't have to put a big ugly bar in to stop this either. I have a set of nice 18x8 rims for sale that are gaurenteed to rub with passangers:D

oh this summer im lowering the car and then it will be fun. also where i live its winter for 9 month so i kind of hate driving my car in the snow with all the sallt on the roads. also if ill want to drive my car in the summer it takes 5 mins to install and remove the bar
